Always use the in-game trade window
The in-game trade window is the only tool that guarantees what you receive matches what was offered. Every scam pattern below involves moving outside that window.
Scam patterns to avoid
- “Trust trades.” Someone asks you to hand over a brainrot first with the promise of payback later. Decline, no exceptions. If the trade cannot happen in one simultaneous trade window, it is not a trade.
- Last-second swap. A scammer adds high-value items, waits for you to confirm, then swaps for lower-value items before the second confirm. Always re-read both sides of the window right before final confirm.
- Fake “value” links in chat.Anyone linking you to an external “official value site” or asking you to log into a site to prove ownership is phishing. Never log into third-party sites with your Roblox account.
- Middleman offers from randoms. If a third party offers to middleman the trade, only accept if they are a verified middleman from a well-known community server. Random middlemen run off with both sides.
