Adopt Me Stray Cat Dragon: Halloween Week 4 Unlock & Candy Cost

Candy Corn alone won't get you the Stray Cat Dragon. You have to find one Polymorphing Cat Food in a Crypt coffin first, and the event ends October 31.

Week 4 went live on October 23 and it's the last week of Adopt Me's Halloween event. That leaves about a week to unlock a 120,000-Candy-Corn legendary, the same price as the Skelicorn from week 2.

Week 4 at a glance

The Stray Cat Dragon is limited. Count Slothula isn't: the wiki says it moves to the Pet Shop after the event and stays on sale. So if your Robux and Candy Corn are tight, the dragon is the only week 4 pet you need to buy before October 31.

How to unlock the Stray Cat Dragon

1. Earn Crypt Keys and open coffins in the Crypt next to the Manor.
2. Keep going until a coffin gives you the Polymorphing Cat Food.
3. Take it to the Stray Cat on its platform in the Carnival area and feed it.
4. The cat turns into the Stray Cat Dragon and the pet becomes buyable for 120,000 Candy Corn.

You can also trade for the dragon. The cat food can't be traded, and it disappears from your inventory when the event ends.

There's one catch. Since week 1, the Stray Cat has paid 50 Candy Corn for one food item each in-game day, and that stops once it turns into the dragon.

Feed it anyway. 50 Candy Corn is less than a single pet need pays.

Finding the Polymorphing Cat Food in the Crypt

The Crypt has four levels of coffins, and each coffin takes one Crypt Key. A coffin can hold:

• 1,000 to 3,000 Candy Corn
• A Crypt Twig (up to 8)
• A Lost Sock (up to 3)
• A Lightning Lever (1)
• Headphones (1)
• A Polymorphing Cat Food (1)

Once you hit the cap on an item, it stops dropping. You only ever get one cat food from the Crypt, and you only need one.

One coffin per level hides a ladder down. Finding the ladder on level 4 gets you a Mummy Spider, then the Crypt collapses and you can clear it again.

No odds are published for the cat food, but the caps help. If you've already maxed out Twigs, Socks, the Lever and the Headphones in earlier weeks, those items are out of the pool, so any coffin that isn't Candy Corn has fewer things left to be.

Where Crypt Keys come from

Clear the Task Board every day and it alone is worth 32 to 36 more keys, depending on when the event closes on October 31.

Spend your keys before your Candy Corn. Candy can't buy the dragon until the cat food turns up, and the coffins pay out Candy Corn on the way.

How to earn 120,000 Candy Corn by October 31

Spread over the 8 days after today, that's 15,000 Candy Corn a day.

Hauntlet 2 is the one to grind.

A full escape pays more than four perfect Ghost Galleries, plus 500 Bucks and two Crypt Keys. Three clean escapes this week covers half the dragon. Expect busy queues, though: Adopt Me had 279,205 players online at 17:17 UTC on week 4's launch day.

Go in alone if you can. Solo players get bonus items at the start, which you'll want once rooms 41 to 50 go from three doors to four.

Stack pet needs on top while you wait for the next queue. All three minigames run on 30-minute timers, so there's always dead time to fill, and every need is 200 Candy Corn.

Is the 50-Robux gamepass worth it now?

Only if you're going for the dragon this week. It adds 25% to your Candy Corn earnings for the rest of the event, paid into a bonus pile next to the Nursery.

With it, you need to earn 96,000 yourself and the pile covers the rest. That's 24,000 Candy Corn saved on the dragon alone, a bit more than one full Hauntlet escape.

With about a week left, the boost has less time to pay off than it did on October 3.

Count Slothula and the rest of week 4

Count Slothula costs 99 Robux, and the Ultra-Rare turns into a bat when it sleeps or does its second trick. Nobody has made a Neon yet, and it's headed to the Pet Shop, so there's no rush.

Slothula Fangs (5,000) and the Halloween 2026 Sticker Pack (750) are the cheap Candy Corn buys this week. Grab them with whatever's left after the dragon.
