Blox Fruits is a massive open-world action MMORPG on Roblox inspired by One Piece. Your journey begins on Starter Island with basic combat moves. Your First Steps
Choose your faction: Pirates or Marines
Both factions have identical gameplay mechanics. Pirates are more popular, making it easier to find parties and trades. Marines can hunt pirate bounties. You can switch later, so don't overthink it.
Get your first Blox Fruit
Visit the Blox Fruit Dealer or find fruits spawned in the world. Save up for Light (650,000 Beli) as your first real fruit. Its Elemental immunity lets you ignore NPC damage below your threshold, and its flight is among the fastest in the game.
Buy Aura from the Ability Teacher
Aura costs only 25,000 Beli and has no level requirement. Find the Ability Teacher in the Frozen Village cave (level 90–120 area) or at Magma Village. It lets you bypass Elemental immunity and boosts damage and defense through 6 progressive stages.
Learn Instinct at level 300 (Upper Skylands)
At level 300+, complete the Saber Puzzle and pay 750,000 Beli to the Instinct Teacher at Upper Skylands. Instinct grants automatic dodges (starting at 2, up to 8 at max level) and lets you see entities through walls.
Grind through the First Sea to level 700
Focus on questing and NPC farming. Invest your 3 stat points per level into Defense + Melee + your main damage stat. Defeat the Ice Admiral boss (Lv. 700) at Frozen Village to unlock the Second Sea.
Enter the Second Sea and start trading
At level 700, head to Kingdom of Rose in the Second Sea. The Café is the main trading hub (4 items per trade, 5 trades every 8 hours). Switch to Buddha fruit (1.2M Beli) for its huge melee-range extension. Start doing Raids at Hot and Cold for Fragments to awaken your fruit.

Stat Build Guide
You earn 3 stat points per level for a total of 8,400 points at max level 2,800. Each stat category caps at 2,800, meaning you can max exactly three stats. The optimal build is Defense (health) + Melee (energy and fighting style damage) + one damage stat (Sword OR Blox Fruit). Each stat point adds a 2.795% multiplier to its category.
Hybrid builds that spread points across four or five stats are mathematically inferior due to opportunity cost. Pick one damage source and commit to it. The wiki recommends maxing your main damage stat first, Defense second, Melee last.
Increases fighting style damage (+0.5 per point) and energy (+5 per point). Always max this.
Increases health (+5 per point). Essential for surviving PvP and Raids.
Boosts sword damage (+0.5 per point). Choose this OR Blox Fruit as your damage stat, not both.
Boosts fruit ability damage (+0.5 per point). Choose this OR Sword as your damage stat, not both.
Boosts gun damage (+0.5 per point). Niche PvP use only — not recommended for beginners.

Essential Tips
Use Light fruit for the entire First Sea
Light's Elemental immunity makes you untouchable by lower-level NPCs, and its flight is one of the fastest travel options between islands. Save up 650,000 Beli and buy it from the Blox Fruit Dealer.
Get Aura early — it has no level requirement
Aura costs only 25,000 Beli from the Ability Teacher at Frozen Village (cave) or Magma Village. It lets you bypass Elemental immunity, boosts non-fruit damage by 10–21%, and reduces incoming damage by up to 30% at Stage 5. Level it by dealing or taking damage with it active.
Switch to Buddha when you reach the Second Sea (level 700)
Even unawakened, Buddha transforms you into a giant with a large boost to melee reach (a 5x M1 hitbox per the wiki). The wiki rates it among the best grinding fruits. Awakened Buddha gives 45% damage reduction against players (about 55% against NPCs) and an 8x M1 hitbox. Combined with a fighting style, it lets you solo Raids early.
Learn Instinct at level 300 (Upper Skylands)
Instinct grants automatic dodges that negate incoming damage (starting at 2, up to 8 at max Instinct level) and lets you see entities through walls. Requires: level 300+, Saber Puzzle completion, and 750,000 Beli. Level it by dodging attacks — each dodge gives one Instinct EXP.
Upgrade Instinct to V2 in the Third Sea
Instinct V2 (requires Lv. 1,800+ and 5,000 Instinct EXP) lets you see your opponent's equipped weapons, level, health, and energy. It also recharges dodges faster (40s vs 50s) and gives a 50% dash speed boost in combat.
Do not waste stat points on Gun early
The Gun stat is a niche PvP choice. Without dedicated points, guns deal negligible damage. Focus on Melee + Defense + Sword or Blox Fruit for your first playthrough.
Start Raids at Hot and Cold for Fragments
Fragments are needed to awaken your fruit abilities (300–1,000 per Raid). Buy a Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist at Hot and Cold for 100,000 Beli or any physical fruit. Level 700+ to join, level 1,100+ to host. Awaken Buddha's Z move first for the biggest power spike.
Upgrade your fighting style as you progress
Start with Combat. Learn Water Kung Fu or Electric in the First Sea. In the Second Sea, work toward Sharkman Karate (Forgotten Island) and Superhuman (Snow Mountain). The endgame goal is Godhuman (Third Sea, Floating Turtle) — it requires mastery 400+ on all five advanced fighting styles plus 5M Beli and 5,000 Fragments.
