Grow a Garden Crop Calculator

Pick a crop, stack mutations, and see the final sell value using the official wiki formula: your variant (Silver, Gold, or Rainbow) multiplies the additive sum of environmental mutations. The calculator lets you stack up to 5 at once.

Quick Answer

Use this calculator to estimate your crop's total value based on base price, active mutations, and any multipliers from pets or boosts. Enter your crop type and current mutation stack to see the projected sell value, helping you decide when to harvest and which mutation combos are worth pursuing.

We don't publish a base value for this crop. Grow a Garden doesn't list base values on any verified primary source — secondary aggregators routinely fabricate them. Enter the value you observed at Steven's Sell Stuff stand.

How it works

The official wiki formula: environmental mutations add together, and your variant multiplies the sum:final = base × variant × (1 + Σ mutations − count)

A Pollinated (3×) + Frozen (10×) + Disco (125×) crop is 1 + 138 − 3 = 136×; add a Gold variant (×20) and it becomes 2,720×. Only one variant (Silver, Gold, or Rainbow) can apply at a time, and the wiki also applies a separate (weight ÷ base weight)² term to the crop's value itself.

Frequently asked

How do mutations stack in Grow a Garden?

Per the official wiki: environmental mutations stack additively, and your crop variant multiplies the total. Final multiplier = variant × (1 + sum of mutation multipliers − number of mutations). Stacking three 10× environmental mutations gives 1 + 30 − 3 = 28×, and a Gold variant would multiply that by 20 for 560×.

Why don't you show base values for every crop?

Grow a Garden does not publish base sell values on any verified primary source. Secondary aggregators routinely fabricate them. We only auto-fill base values where we can verify them in-game; for everything else you enter the value you observed at Steven's Sell Stuff stand. The mutation math is the part of the calculation that is exact.

How many mutations can a single crop have?

The wiki documents no hard cap — instead there are compatibility rules: only one variant (Silver, Gold, or Rainbow) can apply, and some mutations replace others (Frozen removes Wet and Chilled, Paradisal removes Verdant and Sundried, Cooked removes Burnt). This calculator limits selection to 5 at a time for practical comparison.

Are pet boosts a separate multiplier?

No. Pets do not multiply value directly — they enable or apply specific crop mutations. A Bee pet applies Pollinated (3×). The boost shows up through the mutation, not as a second factor.
