How these values and the trade checker work

This list prices 996 Murder Mystery 2 knives and guns in Seers, the unit MM2 traders use to compare items. Each entry also has a demand rating (Low, Medium, High or Very High), a rarity tier and, where one is recorded, a trend. The list is sorted by value, highest first, and can be re-sorted by demand.

The trade checker, in words

Put the items you would give on one side and the items you would get on the other. The checker adds up the Seer value of each side. If the two totals are less than 5% apart, measured against the larger side, it calls the trade fair. Otherwise it tells you how many Seers you would gain or lose. It does not weight by demand, so two sides with equal Seer totals read as fair even if one side is much harder to trade on. Check the demand column yourself before a big trade.

Rarity tiers in the data

Every weapon carries one rarity: 14 Ancient, 127 Godly, 36 Chroma, 20 Vintage, 94 Unique, 84 Legendary, 151 Rare, 27 Uncommon, 443 Common. The value engine above can filter by any of them. A Chroma is listed as its own item with its own value, separate from the Godly it is based on; the FAQ below explains why some Chromas are worth less.
