Rod Upgrade Tips
When should I upgrade my rod?
Upgrade when your current rod's max weight is preventing you from catching available fish in your biome, or when you need higher luck stats to target rarer species.
What does infinite max weight mean?
Rods with infinite weight capacity (shown as ∞) can catch any fish regardless of size. These are endgame Master and Mythical tier rods.
Should I prioritize luck or lure speed?
For farming rare fish, prioritize luck. For grinding large quantities of common fish for income, prioritize lure speed. Check the Bait Guide for additional luck bonuses.
