Fisch Tier List
Why we point to live rankings instead of publishing our own static tier list.
Why this page doesn't publish its own chart. A Fisch species tier list is driven by three variables (current C$/kg, current trading value, and current event/totem availability) and all three change between patches. Any static S/A/B tier ranking we shipped would be wrong within a patch cycle and actively mislead grind priorities. Here’s how to read a real-time tier list and where to find one.
Where to check live values
Each species page tracks the current rarity class, C$/kg, and weight. That’s the authoritative "value tier" data.
Alternate community wiki for cross-checking after a patch.
Trading-value tiers (what Apex species are worth to other players) track on community-run Discords, not on the merchant menu. The Roblox game page links to the official community.
How it works
Two tier lists, not one
Fisch has a merchant-value tier (what the in-game merchant pays for a species) and a trading-value tier (what a player will trade you for it). They overlap at the top (Apex / Relic) but diverge heavily in the mid-tiers, especially for event and limited species. When someone asks "what tier is X," ask which list they mean.
Availability caps the value
A species that’s only catchable during a specific totem window or weather event is worth more per unit of play time than a species with the same C$/kg that spawns 24/7. Static tier lists rarely factor availability, which is why the same species can look "S-tier" one week and "A-tier" the next.
Patch churn
Every balance patch can re-weight the top-10. The Fandom wiki updates within hours of a patch going live. A "2026 tier list" blog post does not.
Frequently asked
What’s the best fish in Fisch right now?
The Apex and Relic tiers (Megalodon line at Ancient Isle, Kraken line at Atlantis, leviathans in The Depths / Abyssal Zenith) lead the merchant tier most of the time, but the exact top-of-list species rotates. Check the Fandom wiki rather than our snapshot.
Do trading values and merchant values agree?
At the very top, yes — the rarest Apex catches price high both ways. In the middle, no: event-limited species often trade well above their merchant quote because you can’t re-catch them after the event. Trading Discords are the only reliable source for trading tiers.
Why did the top tier change after the last patch?
Fisch rebalances species C$/kg with most content patches. New biomes and new species also reset where the top sits — an Apex species from the previous update may be overtaken by a fresh one. This is normal and it’s why a static tier list goes stale so fast.
