Fisch Wrath of Olympus: All Legendary Fish Locations, Baits & Layer Guide

The Wrath of Olympus update dropped April 11 and turned Atlantis into something completely different. Six layers deep, Greek mythology themed, 67 new fish — it's the biggest content update Fisch has ever shipped. This guide covers every legendary fish location, exact baits and conditions per layer, how to unlock deeper layers, and the three new rods.

What Wrath of Olympus Actually Is

The update transforms the Atlantis zone into a six-layer progression dungeon, each layer controlled by a different Greek god. Layer 1 is open by default. Layers 2–5 unlock progressively as you complete each layer's bestiary. Layer 6 — the Olympian Fissure — is sealed behind a special hunt you have to complete in Layer 5.

Each layer has weather interactions, time-of-day requirements, and exclusive legendary/mythical/exotic fish. Don't treat this as a passive fishing grind — conditions matter more here than anywhere else in the base game.

Layer 1: Bellona's Frenzy of War

The entry point. Bellona's layer is the most accessible — no special weather or time requirements for the legendaries. Get these done first before moving deeper.

Layer 2: Apollo's Song of Light

The solar layer, and the most condition-locked of the six. Every meaningful catch here requires daytime, clear skies, and summer season. The Solar Chorus Event activates periodically — two of the legendaries are locked behind it, so check the event timer when you arrive and don't fish this layer at night.

Helios SunrayExoticClearDaySummer — Helios Sunray Hunt (catch 25 legendaries in light beams)

If you're in summer with clear daytime skies, this is the most rewarding layer per session. Don't burn a night session here — nothing significant spawns.

Layer 3: Poseidon's Storm of Floods

Rainy and stormy conditions are your friend in Layer 3. Bring Bellona's War Axe if you have it — weather resistance matters here.

Layer 4: Zeus's Thunder of Chaos

Layer 4's full bestiary is still being verified by the community — confirmed fish names, baits, and conditions aren't yet stable in external sources. We'll update this section with confirmed data as it's verified. Don't rely on unconfirmed community speculation for condition-locked fish here.

Layer 5: Hades' Underworld of Indefinite

The gatekeeper layer. Layer 5 has 12 fish total — 11 are catchable through normal fishing. The 12th requires completing the Styx Angler hunt, an apex-tier challenge that's the hardest content in this update.

Completing the Styx Angler hunt breaks the Divine Seal. That's the only way into Layer 6 — there's no shortcut.

Plan your Layer 5 session around getting the hunt done. Join Fisch's Discord for community callouts when the Styx Angler is active — it's a timed window.

Layer 6: Olympian Fissure (Final Layer)

The endgame zone has 7 fish, all locked to stormy weather and nighttime. This is the narrowest condition window in the entire game — stormy nights in Layer 6 are your only fishing window. Use the in-game weather tracker and plan sessions around it.

The Olympian Devil is the only fish with no confirmed bait requirement in any current source. Community testing is ongoing — we'll update this when it's locked down.

Three New Rods: Wrath of Olympus

RodCostKey AbilityBest For
Apollo's Sunshot17,500,000 C$Bonus luck during daytime; periodic rare spawn burstsLayer 2 / daytime legendaries
Bellona's War AxeTBDResists durability loss in bad weatherLayers 3–5 / stormy conditions
Zeus's ThundermaulTBD15% chance to instantly catch any fish, skipping the reel-inEndgame grinding — but hard to unlock

Zeus's Thundermaul is the obvious priority — a 15% auto-catch on any fish is powerful for grinding a full bestiary. The catch: you need 5 consecutive perfect casts in Layer 6 under stormy night conditions to unlock it. Brutal on purpose.

Bellona's War Axe is the practical pick for anyone spending time in Layers 3–5 where bad weather is the norm. Durability loss in stormy conditions adds up fast on expensive rods.
