Fisch Sovereign Relic Guide: How to Get, Farm & Use Keeper Enchantments (May 2026)

Last Verified: May 15, 2026. Sovereign Relic mechanics sourced from Fischipedia (Sovereign Relic wiki page), FansFirstBooyah Keeperbound guide (May 10), Sportskeeda Secret of the Statue patch notes, TechWiser Sovereign Relic guide, and Roonby farming guide. Drop rates (1/10,000 standard; 1/150 in Sovereign Beams) from Sportskeeda and TechWiser. Enchantment stats from FansFirstBooyah.

The Keeperbound update (v1.83, May 9) added a lot — Sovereign Mines, the Keeper Warden, Keeperbound rods — but the mechanic separating short-term players from long-term ones is the Sovereign Relic. It's the currency of the entire Keeper progression system, it unlocks Sovereign Enchantments that permanently buff your rod, and farming it efficiently requires knowing exactly when and where to fish. This guide covers all of it.

What Is the Sovereign Relic?

The Sovereign Relic is a crafting material introduced in the Keeperbound update. It's the primary reagent for the Keeper progression system — you bring it to the Keeper's Altar inside Sovereign Mines to apply Sovereign Enchantments to your rod, converting a standard rod into a Keeper Rod with permanent stat boosts.

How to Get Your First Relic (Keeper Warden Quest)

You don't need RNG for your first Sovereign Relic — the Keeper Warden quest gives you one as a guaranteed reward. Do this before farming anything else, since completing it also gets you to Keeper Level 1, which you need before you can enchant.

  1. Travel to the Statue of Sovereignty near Moosewood
  2. Enter the underground cave system beneath the statue — this opens into Sovereign Mines
  3. Find the Keeper Warden NPC inside the cave and speak with them
  4. Complete the quest: locate and interact with injured miners scattered through the cave, including deeper sections
  5. Return to the Keeper Warden — you receive your first Sovereign Relic as a reward plus initial Keeper Level XP

This quest also unlocks access to the Keeper's Altar, which you'll need for enchanting. Complete it before anything else in the Keeperbound system.

Farming Drop Rates & Best Methods

Method 1: Standard Fishing (1/10,000)

Sovereign Relics can drop from any water at a 1 in 10,000 base rate. This is not a viable primary farming strategy — treat it as passive background drops while grinding other content, not a deliberate farm.

Method 2: Sovereign Beams During Sovereign Weather (1/150)

When a Sovereign Weather event triggers, giant light beams called Sovereign Beams appear across the ocean. Fishing inside one gives a 1 in 150 drop rate — roughly 67× better than standard fishing. This is the foundation of any real Sovereign Relic farm.

There are three Sovereign Weather event types: Sovereign Surge, Sovereign Storm, and Sovereign Reckoning. All three spawn Sovereign Beams. Some may stack additional luck bonuses on top of the 1/150 base beam rate — community testing is ongoing on event-specific multipliers.

Practical tip

Position your character fully inside a Sovereign Beam before each cast. Moving in and out between casts likely counts as non-Beam fishing for the drop rate check — commit to staying inside the beam for the duration of the weather event.

Requirements to Use a Sovereign Relic

Having a relic isn't enough — three conditions must be met simultaneously before the Keeper's Altar will accept it:

  1. Keeper Level 1 or higher — completing the Keeper Warden miner rescue quest gets you there. If you're still at Keeper Level 0, the altar won't activate.
  2. Power Burst event is active — a rare event that triggers at the Keeper's Altar. When it's active, one of the pillars around the altar displays an offering slot. That slot appearing is your cue to enchant. Outside of Power Burst, enchanting is locked.
  3. Nighttime in Fisch — enchanting at the Keeper's Altar only works during the in-game night cycle. If you have a relic and a Power Burst is active but it's still daytime, wait for the night cycle before interacting.

The practical implication: always keep a stockpile of relics ready so you can enchant immediately when all three conditions align. The Power Burst event is the bottleneck — you don't control when it spawns, so be prepared.

Sovereign Enchantments — What You Get

Using a Sovereign Relic at the Keeper's Altar during a Power Burst event at night converts your rod into a Keeper Rod. The three confirmed Sovereign Enchantment effects are:

EnchantmentEffect
Resilience+35% increased resilience
Fish Rate+20% increased fish rate
Fish Movement SuppressionRod frequently stops fish movement during the catch minigame

The Fish Movement Suppression enchantment is the most impactful for players who struggle with difficult fish — it periodically freezes the catch minigame, giving additional time to reposition. The 20% fish rate increase compounds meaningfully when you're farming during Sovereign Weather events, where cast volume directly affects relic drop frequency.

Efficient Path to First Enchant

  1. Complete the Keeper Warden miner rescue quest → guaranteed first relic, Keeper Level 1 unlocked, Keeper's Altar accessible
  2. Fish in Sovereign Beams during Sovereign Weather events to accumulate relics (target 2–3 in reserve)
  3. Watch for Power Burst event at the Keeper's Altar at night — enchant immediately when all three conditions are met
  4. Continue farming relics for additional enchants on other rods

FAQ

Do Sovereign Relics drop inside the Enchanted Crevice in Sovereign Mines?

Yes — the Enchanted Crevice is a body of water, so the 1/10,000 base rate applies. For deliberate relic farming, ocean fishing during Sovereign Weather is still more efficient because Sovereign Beams only appear on the ocean surface, not inside the mines.

How long does a Power Burst event last?

Power Burst duration hasn't been confirmed in official sources yet. Check Fischipedia for live community reports as testing continues post-launch.

Can I enchant multiple rods?

Yes — each enchant consumes one Sovereign Relic and applies to one rod. If you have multiple rods and multiple relics, you can enchant each one separately during a Power Burst event.

Do Sovereign Enchantments stack with existing rod enchantments?

Based on current documentation, Sovereign Enchantments apply on top of existing enchantments. Full stacking interaction data isn't confirmed yet — flagged for community verification.

I'm Keeper Level 0 — can I still collect Sovereign Relics?

Yes. You can fish in Sovereign Beams and collect relics at any Keeper Level. You just can't use them at the Keeper's Altar until you complete the miner rescue quest and reach Keeper Level 1. Bank them in the meantime.

What's the best rod to enchant first?

Enchant your highest-quality rod first — the stat boosts (especially the 20% fish rate) scale with rod base stats. If you only have one good rod, prioritize enchanting it before farming for additional relics for other rods.
