ANIMAL HOSPITAL
BloxGuides Night-Shift Manual — Sourced from the Animal Hospital Fandom Wiki
Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is a Roblox co-op horror game by Roytt / Animal Anomaly (released May 10, 2026). You run a vet clinic's night shift: check in animal patients, diagnose and treat them — and reject the anomalies disguised as patients using three detection methods (appearance, photo camera, security cameras). Letting an anomaly in causes death rituals, monsters, or a Shapeshifter attack; hitting 0% sanity kills you.
About the Game
Animal Hospital is a Roblox co-op horror game where you work the night shift at a veterinary clinic — checking in animal patients, diagnosing them, and giving the right treatments. The catch: some "patients" are anomalies wearing an animal's face, and letting one in can end in death rituals, monsters, or a Shapeshifter eating your patients. Per the wiki, you play solo or with up to three other players.
Per the wiki, the developer has said the characters were inspired by Animal Crossing while the gameplay draws on Scary Shawarma — which explains the cute-faces-hiding-something-awful energy. Since launching on May 10, 2026, it has become one of the most-played games on Roblox.
Everything on this page is sourced from the Animal Hospital Fandom Wiki — where the wiki is silent (exact spawn odds, hidden timers), we leave the gap rather than guess.

The Three Ways to Spot an Anomaly
Per the wiki's Anomalies page, anomalies are entities that resemble patients — but their symptoms show up in three different places. A single patient can carry more than one tell, so thorough teams check all three before opening the door.
1. APPEARANCE
5 tells you can catch with the naked eye at the check-in window — no equipment needed. Several guarantee a low-pitched, distorted voice as a bonus confirmation.
Mismatched Eyes & Sharp Teeth · Three Eyes · Unnatural Facial Appearance · Hollow Face · Twitching
2. PHOTO CAMERA
Photograph the patient at the window. Per the wiki's Mechanics page, any irregularity in the photo — changed eyes, ears, or mouth — is always an anomaly. Anomalous photos drain 10 sanity from anyone who looks.
Incorrect Photo · Static Photo
3. SECURITY CAMERAS
7 tells only appear on CCTV — the patient looks normal at the window and in photos. Four cameras cover the hospital: check-in, lobby, medical, and emergency (the last unlocks on Shift 3).
Watch for broken cameras — fixing one is a hold-interact, but a Camera Figure can appear on the static and cost you 20 sanity.

Treatment Chart — What Cures What
Per the wiki's Treatment page, the diagnosis screen shows one to three required treatments — and giving the wrong one kills the patient (a hospital death, one of the three that fail your run). Anomaly deaths don't count against you.

MONSTER-CALMING TREATMENTS
Per the wiki, Eyedrops, Maple Syrup, Organ, and Transplant are the only treatments that can be given to monsters: Eyedrops temporarily stop the Mass of Eyes, and the other three make the Bed Monster leave. Eyedrops, IV Drops, or a held coffee also defuse death-ritual candles without sanity loss.
Documented Monsters & What They Cost You
Grouped the way the wiki's Enemies page groups them, with sanity damage from the Sanity page. Counters are only listed where the wiki documents one.
Stalker
-10 upon looking at it
Counter: Don't look at it.
Hiders (Wall Anomaly)
-10 upon being attacked
Head Banger
-20 if tased, shot, or asked to leave
Counter: Hold a coffee when asking it to leave — it drinks it and goes. Or wait for the window to break; it leaves on its own. While it bangs on the window, the shutters cannot close.
Ghost
-2 if encountered
Bed Monster
-10 on grab, then -6 every 2 seconds while it attacks
Counter: Give it Maple Syrup, an Organ, or a Transplant to make it leave.
Mass of Eyes
-3 to -5 per second while looking at it
Counter: Give it Eye Drops to temporarily stop it.
Tendril
Kills the Room 8 patient if the surgery fails
Counter: Complete the 45-second surgery minigame. Tasing or shooting it automatically kills your patient.
Shapeshifter (formerly Skinwalker)
-6 per bite, roughly every 0.5–1 seconds
Counter: Tasing a Shapeshifter gives +2 sanity.
Camera Figure
-20 if stared at too long
Counter: Scroll to the next camera the moment you see it — it appears on broken cameras.

Sanity — Your Health Bar
Per the wiki's Sanity page: you start at 61–65% (more with upgraded classes), reaching 0% kills you, and below 35% the music slows and the world desaturates. Job stress alone bleeds 1 point every 50 seconds — so sanity is a resource you spend and refill, not a bar you protect perfectly.
GAINING SANITY
- Coffee (from the coffee machine or supplies shop)+15 total (+5 per sip)
- Chocolate ($120 in the supplies shop, or 29 Robux at the coffee station)+60 total (+20 per bite)
- Tasing an anomalous patient or Shapeshifter+2
- Completing a surgery+1
- Checking in a patient (Secretary class only)+1 per patient
- Healing a patient (Doctor or Surgeon class only)+1 per patient
LOSING SANITY
- Job stress (passive, unavoidable)-1 every 50 seconds
- Tasing a normal patient-15
- Looking at an anomalous photo / picking up a cursed photo-10
- Getting tased by a teammate-2 (both of you)
- Shooting your own teammate-6 (to you)
- Standing in fire-1 per second
- Removing death-ritual candles bare-handed (no Eyedrops / IV Drops / coffee equipped)-1 to -3 per candle
Monster attacks also drain sanity — see the monster cards above for each one's exact damage. The coffee machine brews every 3 minutes (a second, slower machine is unlockable by hiding Barney from the police).
All 10 Classes
Per the wiki's Classes page, classes are bought in the lobby with Animal Coins (earned from shift reports) or Robux, and can be upgraded since the June 19, 2026 Class Update. The wiki ranks them across three stats — starting sanity, utility, and starter money — rather than publishing exact numbers, so that's what we show.
Intern
Your starting class. Only class whose fur color differs per player. Level 2 raises starting sanity to 76–80%, level 3 to 81–85%.
Nurse
Looks like the Shopkeeper Nurse.
Secretary
+1 sanity for each patient checked in.
Paramedic
Psychologist
Doubles all sanity effects, with a chance to ignore negative ones at levels 2–3.
Doctor
+1 sanity for each patient healed.
Security
Head Nurse
Surgeon
+1 sanity for each patient healed.
Secret Agent
Costs 790 Robux (price set in the 06/19/26 Class Update).
Shift Walkthrough — What Unlocks When
The first four shifts are tutorials, per the wiki's Shifts page. Three animal deaths fail the run.
Two scripted patients, never anomalies: Stomach Ache (needs Herbs) and Dried Eyes (needs Eyedrops). Ends with Dr. Harlow unlocking the shutters and security cameras. Always pays $63 if nobody dies.
Real randomized patients begin — anomalies can now appear, and story characters (Barney, Ron from Accounting, Ratthew) can show up and are always safe to admit. Ends with the Emergency Wing (Rooms 6–8) and the store unlocking.
Same gameplay loop. Ends with Dr. Harlow unlocking the taser and reminding you to check cameras and polaroids.
First Ambulance Event: after a news broadcast about an anomaly attack, six patients rush in at once — some on fire or critical, and anomalies often sneak in among them. Completing it adds bonus pay. An ambulance returns every 5 shifts after this with more critical patients.
Dr. Harlow's last appearance. He warns that three animal deaths fail the run, and reminds you to manage your sanity.
Events & Emergencies
Emergencies are timed — the countdown is visible through walls, and failing one kills the patient.
Ambulance Event
Recurring from Shift 4, then every 5 shifts. Six-plus patients flood in at once, some on fire or in critical condition — and anomalies frequently sneak in with them.
Response: Triage fast, photo-check what you can, and expect a mid-recovery monster. Bonus cash on completion.
Fire in Room
Any patient room can randomly catch fire (occupied or not). Standing near it costs 1–3 sanity per second. A new patient who walks into a burning room faints on contact — but if they enter the fire WITHOUT fainting, the wiki says it's a guaranteed Shapeshifter.
Response: Use the fire extinguisher — putting flames out by hand is slower and costs more sanity.
Patient on Fire
60 secondsA burning patient runs in screaming. Extinguisher-doused patients are fully healed; hand-doused patients still need Ointment afterward (at the window or in a room). They can still be an anomaly.
Response: Extinguish, then treat with Ointment if you doused by hand.
Patient Fainted
60 secondsPatients faint at check-in, from walking into fire, or from being tased/shot. You have 60 seconds to carry them to a bed.
Response: Carry to their room — or throw them in the trash can, which skips treatment entirely and does not count as a death.
Death Ritual
40 secondsAn occupied room dims; the patient levitates surrounded by ritual candles and the door takes longer to open. Removing candles bare-handed costs 1–3 sanity each.
Response: Defuse candles with Eyedrops, IV Drops, or coffee equipped (no sanity loss) — or tase the patient to break the ritual instantly.
Bed Monster Grab
30 secondsIf a room has the Bed Monster under the bed, it can grab the patient as they leave and drag them under.
Response: Give it Maple Syrup, an Organ, or a Transplant (equip the treatment and enter the red zone near the bed).
Monster Emerging (Tendril)
45 secondsA patient recovering in Room 8 (surgery) can sprout tendrils. You must complete the surgery minigame to save them.
Response: Do the surgery — never tase or shoot the Tendril, which kills your patient automatically.
Critical Patient
60–120 secondsDuring ambulance events, patients arrive in critical condition and must be brought into recovery before the timer ends.
Response: Get them into recovery — or tase/shoot to faint them and trash them, which eliminates the death timer.

Common Player Questions
All answers cite the Animal Hospital Fandom wiki. Where the wiki doesn't document something, we say so explicitly rather than guess.
Q01What is Animal Hospital (Anomaly) on Roblox?
Animal Hospital is a co-op survival-horror game by developer Roytt (published under the Animal Anomaly group) released May 10, 2026. You work the night shift at a veterinary clinic: check in animal patients, diagnose them, and give correct treatments — while spotting the anomalies disguised as patients and keeping your sanity above 0%. Per the developer, the characters were inspired by Animal Crossing and the gameplay by Scary Shawarma.
Q02How do you tell if a patient is an anomaly?
Three ways, per the wiki: in person (appearance tells like mismatched glowing eyes, three eyes, unnatural faces, hollow eyes, or twitching), by photographing them (photo-only tells like changed ears/eyes/mouth or a static photo), and on the security cameras (camera-only tells like black-bar eyes, a stretched "boneless" body, staring into the camera, appearing fully black, camera-only twitching, mismatched ears, or showing up as a Shapeshifter on the feed). A single patient can have more than one tell.
Q03What happens if you let an anomaly into the hospital?
Per the wiki, admitted anomalies typically cause death rituals, monsters emerging from patients, or turn into a Shapeshifter that attacks patients and players. You can also kill an admitted anomaly deliberately by giving it the wrong treatment — anomaly deaths don't count against you, but the shift pays out less.
Q04What do the treatments cure in Animal Hospital?
Eyedrops cure Dried Eyes, IV Drops cure Dehydration, Medkit cures Bruises, Thermo cures Fever, Ointment cures Rashes and Burn Wounds, Bandages cure Bleeding, Medicine cures Headache, Herbs cure Stomach Ache, Maple Syrup cures Low Sugar and "Canadian", and Cough Syrup cures Flu. Scissors, Scalpel, Organ, Transplant, and Antibiotics are surgery-only tools. Giving a wrong treatment kills the patient.
Q05How does sanity work?
Sanity is your health bar — hit 0% and you die. You start at 61–65% (more with upgraded classes), passively lose 1 point every 50 seconds to job stress, and take hits from monsters, cursed photos, fires, and mistakes like tasing a real patient (-15). Coffee restores +15, chocolate +60, and tasing an actual anomaly gives +2. Below 35%, the music slows and the world desaturates.
Q06What classes can you play?
Ten classes, per the wiki: Intern (starter), Nurse, Secretary, Paramedic, Psychologist, Doctor, Security, Head Nurse, Surgeon, and Secret Agent. They're bought with Animal Coins earned from shift reports — except Secret Agent, which costs 790 Robux. Classes differ in starting sanity, utility, and starter money, and can be upgraded since the June 19, 2026 Class Update.
Q07Does Animal Hospital have codes?
No. The game's community wiki states: "There are currently no codes for Animal Hospital (Anomaly)." No expired codes are documented either. Free progression comes from playing — shift reports pay cash and Animal Coins based on your grading, and Animal Coins buy new classes.
Q08Is Animal Hospital multiplayer?
Yes — per the wiki you play solo or with up to three other players. Runs are shift-based, the first four shifts tutorialize the mechanics, and per Dr. Harlow (Shift 6) three animal deaths fail the run.
