Bee Swarm Simulator Bee Tier List

All 46 bees ordered by the one number that decides how much work a bee does in the core loop: base pollen gathered per second. Every figure is divided out of the bee's own wiki stat line, and the division is printed on the row.

Quick Answer

Ranked on base pollen per second — collectsPollen ÷ pollenSeconds from each bee's wiki stat line — Fuzzy Bee leads all 46 Bee Swarm Simulator bees at 16.67/sec, ahead of Festive Bee and Photon Bee at 10.00/sec. The slowest, Tadpole Bee, gathers 1.67/sec, a 10× spread. Rarity barely tracks the ranking.

How this ranking is calculated

Calculated — formula shown

Read this before the tiers. It is the whole method, and it is two divisions.

  • pollen per second = collectsPollen ÷ pollenSeconds — e.g. Fuzzy Bee collects 100 pollen in 6 seconds, so 100 ÷ 6 = 16.67 pollen/sec.
  • honey per second = makesHoney ÷ honeySeconds — used for the honey board further down.
  • Tier cut points are round numbers we chose (S = 6.00+, A = 4.00, B = 3.00, C = 2.50), not thresholds the game publishes. Each bee's exact rate is printed beside it so you can draw the line somewhere else.
  • Ties share a rank. 18 bees sit on the same 2.50/sec gather line, and pretending an alphabetical tiebreak means something would be inventing a difference.
  • Base numbers only. Bee level, Gifted bonuses, hive and field multipliers, tools, and ability procs are not in the synced dataset and are not estimated here.

Rarity is a price tag, not a power level

From the ranking above

Bumble Bee is a Rare and gathers 4.50 pollen/sec. That is more than 17 bees of higher rarity — Bucko Bee (Epic, 4.25/s), Music Bee (Legendary, 4.00/s), Commander Bee (Epic, 3.75/s), Spicy Bee (Mythic, 3.50/s), among others.

The whole roster spans 1.67/sec (Tadpole Bee, Mythic) to 16.67/sec (Fuzzy Bee, Mythic) — a 10× spread — and the rarity ladder does not run alongside it. 18 of 46 bees share exactly the same 2.50/sec gather line, spread across 5 different rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Event, Legendary).

The practical read: a bee's rarity tells you how hard it was to get, and its stat line tells you what it does once you have it. Those are different questions, and a tier list that only sorts by rarity answers neither.

The other three stat boards

Pollen gathering is one job. These are the rest of the published stat line, each ranked on its own and never blended into a composite score.

Honey conversion

honey per second = makesHoney ÷ honeySeconds. This is how fast a bee turns pollen into honey back at the hive, not how much it gathers.

Movement speed

Published speed value from the infobox. Faster bees spend less of the cycle travelling between flowers and hive.

Energy

Energy decides how long a bee works before it needs a treat. Two bees — Exhausted Bee and Photon Bee — are published as Unlimited rather than a number, so they are shown as ∞ and left out of the numeric ranking rather than assigned an invented value.

What this ranking cannot see

Strategy — our take, not a published stat

Our own reading of the game, not a figure from the dataset. Judge it on whether it matches your play.

  • Abilities. Our sync captures ability names, not effects. A bee whose ability generates tokens, buffs the whole hive, or clears a field can be worth far more than its gather line, and nothing in the tiers above reflects that.
  • Hive context. Bees are not used alone. Colour bonuses, boost abilities that only fire alongside other bees, and which fields you are farming all change what a slot is worth.
  • Availability. Several top-tier gatherers are event bees. A bee you cannot obtain this month has no practical rank at all.
  • Scaling.Level and Gifted status multiply the base line, and they do not multiply every bee by the same amount in practice — which is exactly why we do not fabricate a "true" endgame number here.

What the community rates highly (and why it differs)

Community consensus — opinion, not data

No published source backs this section. It is a summary of what long-time players broadly argue in BSS communities, it shifts with updates, and you should treat it as opinion sitting next to the data above.

Ask experienced players for the best bees and you will rarely get the pollen-per-second order. The names that recur are typically event and Gifted bees valued for their abilities rather than their gather line — the endgame conversation is usually about what a bee does to a hive, not how fast it fills a bag.

We deliberately do not publish a numbered community ranking. We cannot source or verify one, and a made-up consensus order would be indistinguishable from the calculated ranking above — which is the one thing on this page you can check yourself.

Questions about the ranking

What is the best bee in Bee Swarm Simulator?

On base pollen gathered per second — the only ranking this page makes — Fuzzy Bee leads all 46 bees at 16.67 pollen/sec, calculated as 100 pollen ÷ 6 seconds from its wiki stat line. That is base output only: it excludes bee level, Gifted bonuses, hive and field multipliers, and every ability, so it is a floor for comparison rather than a verdict on which bee wins a hive slot.

How is this tier list calculated?

Each bee's wiki stat line publishes an amount and a cycle time ("collects X pollen in Y seconds"). Dividing one by the other gives pollen per second, and the tiers are round cut points on that number: S is 6.00+, A is 4.00–5.99, B is 3.00–3.99, C is 2.50–2.99, D is under 2.50. No weighting, no opinion scoring, and every bee's exact figure is printed on its row.

Does rarity predict how good a bee is?

Not on base gather. Bumble Bee, a Rare, gathers 4.50 pollen/sec — more than 17 of the 46 bees that carry a higher rarity, including Bucko Bee (Epic), Music Bee (Legendary), Commander Bee (Epic). Rarity in BSS tracks how hard a bee is to obtain, not the size of its published stat line.

Why is a famous endgame bee ranked in a middle tier here?

Because this page ranks one thing: base pollen per second. Several bees the community treats as endgame have ordinary gather lines and earn their reputation through abilities, token generation, or boss damage — none of which our synced dataset quantifies. Read the tiers as a floor on raw gathering, then read the ability and consensus sections for what the numbers cannot see.

Are Gifted bonuses included in these numbers?

No. Every figure here is the wiki's base, level-1 stat line. Gifted bonuses, bee level, hive multipliers, field type, tools, and ability procs all sit on top of it and none of them are in the synced dataset, so none of them are estimated here.
