One of the Holiday Main Characters of Dandy's World. Created to craft toys for everyone has left her envious. If not preoccupied she will break into full sprint at the sound of picking up an item in hopes of catching whoever was being greedy. Be mindful, her speeds are hard to escape.

Has a meter which fully depletes when a Toon gifts him items. When the meter is full, Twisted Gourdy will enrage and gain a huge speed boost. Upon panic mode, he enrages instantly. Once the meter is full, there is no way to get it back down to passive. The stats shown below are for when he is enraged.

One of the Holiday Main Characters of Dandy's World. Unstable and on the verge of being overcome by Ichor. If Toons fail to appease him, he reacts in blinded distress, reaching an uncontrollable state where his heightened speed and awareness make an escape nearly impossible.

One of the Main Characters of Dandy's World. The blatant ignorance of her existence by everyone around her has enraged her. Her presence makes every Toon extract slower, and she uses her form to her advantage in terms of speed.

When detecting a Toon, Twisted Sprout will leave a deadly tendril under the detected Toon, attacking anyone that steps on it for too long. Has a cooldown of 10. If Twisted Cosmo is on the floor as well, Twisted Sprout will occasionally follow him. He will also sometimes stop to look at posters of his Toon counterpart.

One of the Main Characters of Dandy's World. This Twisted makes up for his slower speed by summoning deadly tendrils from the ground that strike at nearby Toons. Do not let this lonely Twisted trap you with him!

Twisted Dyle becomes faster the longer a player is in his line of sight, though anything that attracts Twisteds will immediately fill his meter up halfway. This is shown through a meter above him. He can instant kill anyone he attacks in one hit regardless of the current health status or Trinkets, just like any other Lethal.

Where the numbers stop, and why they are not filled in

The bestiary is not uniform, and the honest thing is to show the shape of the holes rather than smooth them over. Every gap below is what the wiki actually publishes.

6 Twisteds publish no walk/chase pair

Twisted Blot, Twisted Razzle & Dazzle, Twisted Rodger, Twisted Waxwell leave the speed cell empty. For Twisted Blot, Twisted Rodger and Twisted Razzle & Dazzle that agrees with the wiki's own Research text, which describes all three as holding a position rather than roaming a floor — Blot "conserves its energy by staying in one place", Rodger rises out of the ground and goes idle again, and Razzle & Dazzle return to an idle position. Twisted Waxwell is a different case: its rarity and mechanic are published and nothing numeric is, so it has no speed, no attention span and no detection range here. None of the four gets a substituted number.

Twisted Coal and Twisted Squirm do publish something, but not a pair. Coal writes a Normal Floors block and a Blackouts block, each with its own walking, chasing, Panic Mode and Suppression figures — two whole states in one cell. Squirm writes "None (Static)". Both cells are shown verbatim on their cards with the line breaks kept, because collapsing Coal's into a single line would erase the distinction between his two states, and picking one of his four numbers would be us choosing on the wiki's behalf.

5 have no plain attention span

Twisted Bassie, Twisted Blot, Twisted Coal, Twisted Squirm, Twisted Waxwell. Three of them write it conditionally rather than as a number — Twisted Bassie has one figure normally and another while its ability is up, Twisted Coal has one per floor state, and Twisted Squirm writes "N/A (1.5 second Strike delay)". Those strings are shown as written. Twisted Blot and Twisted Waxwell state nothing at all.

10 have no special mechanic — and that is the answer, not a gap

Twisted Boxten, Twisted Eggson, Twisted Ginger, Twisted Looey, Twisted Pebble, Twisted Poppy, Twisted Ribecca, Twisted Shrimpo, Twisted Toodles, Twisted Yatta are plain chasers. The wiki genuinely lists no mechanic for them, so their cards say "None" and explain that it means none, rather than leaving a blank a reader would take for missing research.

3 publish no detection ranges

Twisted Blot, Twisted Squirm, Twisted Waxwell. Twisted Squirm publishes a strike range instead of a vision range, which is a different thing and is shown as its own string rather than moved into the vision columns. 1 Twisted publishes a different set of ranges depending on floor state; both blocks are shown, and the numeric columns hold only the first labelled set.

Research is how the bestiary turns into loadout

Every Twisted has a Research bar that fills as you encounter it. At 50% the wiki records a written entry unlocking — a paragraph of in-world description, which is the italic block on each card. At 100% it awards a trinket. All 42 Twisteds award one, which is why the trinket database is roughly the size of the bestiary plus the store.

That connection is the reason a bestiary is worth reading rather than skimming: the Twisted you keep meeting is also the trinket you have not unlocked yet. Several Toon unlocks are gated on Research percentages too — some at 25%, some at 50%, most at 100% — so the Twisteds you have studied determine which Toons you can buy. The trinket database lists which Twisted awards each one.

Common questions

How many Twisteds are in Dandy's World?

42 — one for every Toon. The wiki files them by rarity: 11 Common, 10 Uncommon, 11 Rare, 8 Main Character, 2 Lethal. Rarity here describes how often a Twisted turns up, not how dangerous it is; the wiki publishes no danger ranking and neither does this page.

Which Dandy's World Twisted is the fastest?

Of the 36 Twisteds that publish a chase speed, Twisted Gourdy is highest at 26 and Twisted Ginger is lowest at 14. The other 6 publish no walk/chase pair at all, so they are absent from that comparison rather than sitting at the bottom of it with a zero.

Why do some Dandy's World Twisteds have no speed listed?

Because the wiki does not state one. Twisted Blot, Twisted Razzle & Dazzle, Twisted Rodger, Twisted Waxwell publish an empty speed cell. For Twisted Blot, Twisted Rodger and Twisted Razzle & Dazzle that matches the wiki's own Research descriptions, which have all three holding a position rather than roaming; Twisted Waxwell simply has no numeric fields filled in at all. Twisted Coal publishes two separate speed blocks for Normal Floors and Blackouts, and Twisted Squirm writes "None (Static)". Those cells are shown exactly as written, line breaks and all, instead of being reduced to a single number that would be wrong for at least one of the states.

What does attention span mean in Dandy's World?

How long a Twisted keeps chasing after it loses sight of you. 37 of 42 publish a plain figure in seconds — Twisted Ginger has the longest at 10 seconds. The remaining 5 either write it conditionally (Twisted Bassie has a normal figure and an ability figure; Twisted Coal has one per floor state) or do not state it, and those cells carry the wiki's own wording rather than a number.

What are the three detection ranges?

The wiki labels them itself: circular vision, which needs no line of sight; direct vision, which is a straight line in front of the Twisted; and hearing radius, which is how far away it can hear a sprinting Toon. Most Twisteds publish all three. Twisted Coal publishes a different set for Blackouts, so both blocks are shown and the numeric columns hold only the first labelled set.

Do all Twisteds have a special mechanic?

No — 10 of 42 have none, and that is a real answer rather than missing data. Twisted Boxten, Twisted Eggson, Twisted Ginger, Twisted Looey and 6 others are plain chasers: they walk, they see you, they chase. Every Twisted does award a trinket at 100% Research, though — all 42 of them.

Is there a Dandy's World Twisted tier list?

No. The wiki publishes speeds, ranges and mechanics; it never ranks Twisteds by threat. A tier order would be our opinion presented as fact, and this site does not publish those. The bestiary is sortable by chase speed and attention span instead, which are the measurable things a player actually wants when deciding whether they can outrun something.
