Dragon Skeletonini gets the attention, but it's 0.1%. The two brainrots that actually make the Skull Lucky Block worth buying are Bat-in-the-Box and Zombie Bowl. Between them they're 44% of what an average block earns.
Run the wiki's odds and an average block comes out at about $4.67M/s. The Secret Lucky Block costs $750M and averages about $3.0M/s. The Skull block costs $500M.
Every Skull Lucky Block drop
Eight brainrots, all added in Update 70.
| Brainrot | Rarity | Chance | 1 in | Income | Listed cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Candi Corni | Brainrot God | 32.4% | 3.09 | $321K/s | $77.5M |
| Grim Cheese | Secret | 30% | 3.33 | $1.6M/s | $510M |
| Zombie Bowl | Secret | 21% | 4.76 | $4.5M/s | $875M |
| Bananito Skelito | Secret | 10% | 10 | $8.5M/s | $1.4B |
| Bat-in-the-Box | Secret | 5% | 20 | $22.5M/s | $2.7B |
| Boo Boo Rocket | Secret | 1% | 100 | $37.5M/s | $6B |
| Flying Dutchman | Secret | 0.5% | 200 | $92.5M/s | $32.5B |
| Dragon Skeletonini | Secret | 0.1% | 1,000 | $325M/s | $325B |
Incomes are base values, before mutations or traits. Seven of the eight are Secrets, so 67.6% of blocks hand you a Secret. The only non-Secret is Candi Corni, a Brainrot God reskin of Pipi Corni.
How to get a Skull Lucky Block
$500M in cash, or this:
- Reaper Base (R$999). Buying the base also gives you 2 free Premium Skull Lucky Blocks.
Red Carpet spawning isn't confirmed yet. The obtainment section on the block's wiki page still carries an "upcoming" tag.
Every other lucky block with a cash price (Mythic, Brainrot God and Secret) spawns on the Red Carpet, so the Skull block may too. Some guides already list the carpet as a source. The wiki doesn't yet.
Same rules as every other lucky block:
- Lucky blocks can be stolen, just like brainrots. Don't leave a $500M block sitting unopened in an unlocked base.
- Luck does nothing. The block decides what's inside when it spawns, so a luck boost before you open it is wasted.
Where the value actually comes from
Multiply each brainrot's chance by its income and you get what it adds to the average block.
| Brainrot | Adds to average | Share of total |
|---|---|---|
| Bat-in-the-Box | $1.13M/s | 24.1% |
| Zombie Bowl | $945K/s | 20.3% |
| Bananito Skelito | $850K/s | 18.2% |
| Grim Cheese | $480K/s | 10.3% |
| Flying Dutchman | $463K/s | 9.9% |
| Boo Boo Rocket | $375K/s | 8.0% |
| Dragon Skeletonini | $325K/s | 7.0% |
| Candi Corni | $104K/s | 2.2% |
| Total | $4.67M/s | 100% |
The Dragon barely moves it. Count its share as zero and the average only drops to $4.34M/s.
The 5%, 10% and 21% slots are 62.6% of the block's value. Ten blocks hoping for the Dragon is a bad plan. Eleven blocks gets you a 50% chance of Bat-in-the-Box or better, and that's a plan.
How fast each drop pays back $500M
At base income, most drops earn back $500M in minutes. Candi Corni is the slow one:
| Drop | Time to earn $500M |
|---|---|
| Candi Corni | about 26 minutes |
| Grim Cheese | about 5.2 minutes |
| Zombie Bowl | about 1.9 minutes |
| Bananito Skelito | about 59 seconds |
| Bat-in-the-Box | about 22 seconds |
| Anything rarer | under 15 seconds |
The worst case is a 26-minute payback. You still make the money back. You just lose a slot to a slow brainrot.
The slot is the real cost. Once your base is full, Candi Corni at $321K/s is likely your weakest brainrot, and 32.4% of blocks give you one. Open blocks while you still have room, or be ready to sell or swap the duds.
Skull vs Secret vs last year's Spooky block
| Block | Cash cost | Average income | Per $100M spent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skull Lucky Block (2026) | $500M | $4.67M/s | $933K/s |
| Secret Lucky Block | $750M | $3.00M/s | $400K/s |
| Spooky Lucky Block (2025) | $350M | about $0.87M/s | about $248K/s |
Per dollar, the Skull block is over twice as good as the Secret block. It isn't close.
The Secret block's problem is Torrtuginni Dragonfrutini at 74.45%. Three out of four Secret blocks give you a $350K/s brainrot. The Skull block's most common drop is Candi Corni, which is even a bit weaker ($321K/s), but at 32.4% it's far less likely.
You can't get the 2025 Spooky block anymore, but it's a useful yardstick. Its odds are labeled "estimated" on the wiki and add to 99.55%, so treat its figure as approximate. Its best drop, La Casa Boo, made $100M/s. That's barely more than this year's 1-in-200 Flying Dutchman.
Should you chase Dragon Skeletonini?
Not on purpose. At 1 in 1,000:
- 100 blocks ($50B) gives you a 9.5% chance.
- 693 blocks ($346.5B) is a coin flip.
- 1,000 blocks ($500B) is still only 63.2%.
The coin-flip spend is more than the Dragon's own listed cost of $325B. Its wiki page lists the Skull Lucky Block as its only source, though, so you can't just buy one somewhere else.
If it shows up, great. It makes $325M/s, ahead of Orchidox as the best lucky-block brainrot. Just don't plan around it.
Flying Dutchman is the realistic chase. It's 1 in 200, and 116 blocks gives you even odds of hitting it or the Dragon.
Trade values for brainrots are on the Steal a Brainrot values list.
The rest of Halloween 2026
The Skull block is the second half of Halloween. Update 69 landed on October 3 with the Haunted Fuse and the Eclipse Event.
Haunted Fuse
It replaced the Craft Machine and fuses brainrots into Halloween ones. The top recipes:
| Brainrot | Rarity | Income | Max chance (wiki) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phoenix | Secret | $425M/s | Unknown |
| Plant Bros | Secret | $300M/s | 50% (Orchidox + Venuspino) |
| Sammyni Spookyni | Secret | $80M/s | Unknown |
| Oni Oni Panda | Secret | $27M/s | Unknown |
| Fangaro Lupino | Secret | $7.2M/s | Unknown |
| Los Treaters | Secret | $1.2M/s | 91% (low-tier Secrets) |
Phoenix ties Los Dragons as the highest-earning Secret in the game, at $425M/s. Its recipe isn't on the wiki yet.
Plant Bros is the one with a known recipe: Orchidox plus Venuspino, at a max chance of 50%, for $300M/s. That's almost the Dragon's income, from a fuse instead of a 1-in-1,000 roll.
Eclipse Event
Eclipse is now the best mutation in the game at 13.5x. The event runs every hour on weekends and every two hours on weekdays. The wiki doesn't have a confirmed reward wheel yet, so ignore any list of Eclipse odds you see.
There's also a base: the Eclipse Base needs 50% of the brainrots added from October 3 onward, each with the Eclipse mutation. The eight Skull block brainrots came out after that date, so they're part of that pool.
Is there a Halloween code?
No. Steal a Brainrot has only one shared code everyone can use, BESTBRAINROTEVER. The rest are limited-stock or one-per-buyer drops. The Steal a Brainrot codes page says whether it still works.
The Steal a Brainrot tier list ranks the Secrets against what you've already got. The hub has the rest.
