5 New Elements
Resurgence added five new elements to the game. Exact race assignments and unlock requirements are not yet fully documented in public patch notes — the table below is based on what's been confirmed by Roonby's coverage. Specific race-to-element pairings are marked where confirmed; flag everything else as preliminary until you check the in-game menus or the Type Soul Fandom wiki.
| Element | Notes |
|---|---|
| Love Almighty | Confirmed added (race assignment unclear — likely tied to Almighty ability rollout) |
| Legacy Benihime | Confirmed added (Benihime is Urahara's Zanpakutō in Bleach — likely Shinigami-adjacent) |
| Legacy Confusion | Confirmed added (Confusion was previously noted as getting a rework — this may be the result) |
| Spiral | Confirmed added (race unconfirmed — check in-game) |
| Noitora / Fifth | Confirmed added (Noitora is Arrancar/Hollow in Bleach — likely Arrancar-faction) |
The Fullbringer race also received a new Hogyoku-tied element as part of its buff (see Balance Changes below), which may overlap with one of the five above or be a sixth addition depending on how the update is counted.
Soul Pass — 100-Tier Battle Pass
The Resurgence update introduced the Soul Pass — a 100-tier seasonal Battle Pass. This works like most Roblox seasonal progression systems: complete in-game missions to earn XP, advance through tiers, and unlock cosmetics and gameplay materials.
Specific tier rewards and Robux cost are not yet confirmed in any public patch notes source — Roonby noted these details were still being compiled at the time of their guide. Check the in-game Soul Pass menu for the full reward breakdown. What is confirmed:
- 100 tiers total
- Includes both free track and premium track rewards [UNVERIFIED — presumed based on Roblox genre conventions]
- The pass is tied to the Resurgence seasonal period
Map Revamps — Hueco Mundo & Wandenreich
Two major zones received full visual and navigation overhauls in Resurgence:
Hueco Mundo
Hueco Mundo — the Hollow and Arrancar home dimension — received a complete rework covering navigation layout, visuals, combat flow, and performance optimization. If you haven't been to Hueco Mundo since before May 7, expect it to feel like a different zone. The core design intent (desert environment, hollow-themed) is preserved, but the traversal and structure are updated.
Wandenreich / Lost Notes
The Quincy-associated zone (referred to as "Wandenreich" in some sources and "Lost Notes" in others — these may be names for the same area or the update touched both) also received a full rework on the same scope as Hueco Mundo. Soul Society and Karakura Town were reportedly untouched in this update.
Raid Changes — All Races Can Participate
Previously, raid participation had race restrictions that locked certain content to specific factions. The Resurgence update removes those restrictions: all races can now participate in raids. This is a significant quality-of-life change that opens raid content to players who were previously blocked from specific raids based on their race selection.
Additional changes in the PvP events area:
- Soul Wars game mode vaulted — removed from the rotation entirely
- Clan Wars reverted to its original format following community feedback
Balance Changes
Fullbringer — Buffed
Fullbringer received one of the bigger buffs of the update. A new Hogyoku skill and element were added to the race, expanding its kit meaningfully. Fullbringer was previously considered one of the weaker races for endgame play — this update improves its viability. Specific skill names and stat changes are not yet in public patch notes; check the in-game Fullbringer menus for what's new.
Kyoka Suigetsu — Nerfed
Kyoka Suigetsu received nerfs in Resurgence — confirmed indirectly by the developer releasing the active code kyokanerfsweredeservedlol (Rell Games' classic humor-naming convention for acknowledging a controversial but justified nerf). The specific changes to Kyoka Suigetsu's damage, cooldowns, or mechanics are not in public patch notes — check the Fandom wiki for community documentation as it gets updated.
Confusion & Visionary — Reworked
Both Confusion and Visionary received reworks. The reworks are confirmed but specific details of what changed are still being documented by the community. [PARTIALLY VERIFIED]
Golden Weapon Quests
A new Golden Weapon quests system was added in Resurgence. The existence of this system is confirmed across multiple sources; the specific quest objectives, requirements, and rewards are not yet in any public guide. Check in-game or the Type Soul Fandom wiki for the current quest list. What's known: Golden Weapon quests appear to be a progression goal tied to the Resurgence update's seasonal content.
All Active Type Soul Codes
Type Soul has a large active codes list following Resurgence. Codes require Semi-Rank 2 minimum to redeem. Most codes reward a combination of Locked Shikai/Res/Volt Rerolls and Locked Clan Rerolls unless otherwise noted. Redeem in the in-game codes menu.

FAQ
Do I need to start over because of the Resurgence update?
No — Resurgence is additive. Your existing progress, grade, race, and abilities carry over. The update adds new elements, a battle pass, map revamps, and gameplay changes — it doesn't wipe player data.
Can I switch to Fullbringer after the buff?
Race changes require a race reroll item. The codes in the table above reward rerolls, so redeem them all first. If you're specifically targeting Fullbringer's new Hogyoku skill, check whether the reroll you get is a Locked or Unlocked variant — Locked rerolls let you keep your current grade while changing race.
What happened to Soul Wars?
Soul Wars was vaulted (removed) in the Resurgence update. No return date has been announced. Clan Wars remains in the game but was reverted to its original format.
Is Kyoka Suigetsu still usable after the nerf?
The developer code name suggests the nerf was "deserved" — implying Kyoka Suigetsu was overtuned. It's likely still a functional element, just pulled back from its previous ceiling. Wait for community tier list updates as players test the new values post-nerf.
How do I access the new map areas?
Hueco Mundo and Wandenreich access methods didn't change — only the visual and navigation layouts were revamped. If you could access those zones before, you can still access them the same way. The revamp just changes how they look and flow.
Where can I find the Golden Weapon quests?
Look for them in the quests menu in-game — they should be listed alongside other active quests. The specific NPC or menu location varies; check the in-game tooltip or the Type Soul Fandom wiki as players document the quest locations.

Blox Fruits Balance Patch 001: Every Buff, Every Nerf, and the New PvP Meta After the Largest Balance Update Ever (August 11, 2026)
The 2026 Summer Balance Update landed on August 6 and it is officially the largest single balance patch in Blox Fruits history — 39 targets touched across Fruits, Fighting Styles, Swords, Guns, Races, and core Instinct mechanics. Empyrean Kitsune and normal Kitsune both got hit with matching nerfs (Z tap no longer breaks Instinct, X channels on hit). Dark, Dough, Spider, Ghost, Werewolf, Tiger, Sand, Ice, Flame, Fiend, Yeti and Quake all got buffed — some of them massively. Ghost summoned allies can now mirror sword abilities. Pain Last Stand was completely redesigned. Sharkman Karate C now grants temporary health. Instinct dodges regenerate 25 percent faster. Venom Bow got its 1-second Instinct-immune stun. Gun M1s got Aim Assist. This is the full patch-note breakdown, cited straight to the developers own Balance Log, plus the honest post-patch meta read — what to level right now, what to shelve, and where the tier list is actually about to move.
