Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event 2026 Part 2 Launch Debrief — What Actually Shipped in Update 1.66.0: 8 Crafting Recipes (Not the Previewed 11), the Gold Cauldron Confirmed at 30-75 KG of Gold Fruits for 1 Beanpod Chest, the Three New Pets Drop from Beanpod Chests (Not Goliath's Goods), and the Gnome Returns at Friendship 6 for 1B Sheckles — September 6, 2026

Part 2 shipped 8 crafting recipes, not the previewed 11. The Gold Cauldron wants 30-75 kg of Gold-mutated plants per Beanpod Chest, then cools down 3 minutes.

Last Verified: September 6, 2026. Every drop time, recipe, hunger stat, passive-ability text, level cost, stock chance, and shop item below is pulled directly from the Grow a Garden Fandom wiki — the Beanstalk Event 2026 page for the Gold Cauldron mechanic, the eight-recipe Crafting Bench, the five-level Jack table, and the two shop tabs, the Update Log for Update 1.66.0 (September 5, 2026), the Sheep, Cloud Hound, and Chest Mimic pages for the three new pets (all obtaining method: Beanpod Chest), the Gnome page for the returning legendary at Friendship level 6, the Aurum Spire page for the 0.14% (1/700) Seed Shop restock chance, and the Codes page for the three still-active codes. Still unpublished: the exact Beanpod Chest drop chances for Sheep vs. Cloud Hound vs. Chest Mimic, and whether the Gold Cauldron ever awards more than one Beanpod Chest per fill.

Part 2 went live at 20:30 UTC yesterday. The preview I posted yesterday morning pulled from the pre-launch Spoiler block on the same wiki page. The Spoiler block is gone now — the live page has replaced it with the shipped tables. So this post is the answer key. If you already read the preview, jump to the three things it got wrong.

Three Things the Preview Got Wrong

The Beanstalk Event 2026 wiki page's pre-launch Spoiler block listed a Crafting Bench with more recipes than shipped. Yesterday's preview took that at face value. Three specific items landed differently in the live game:

  1. Skyroot Chest is not craftable. The live Crafting Bench does not include it. It is only sold in the Friendship Shop at level 2 for 500,000,000 Sheckles or 199 Robux, at a 25% stock chance per restock. If you were planning to farm the ingredients, you are actually planning to feed the Giant burgers and grind Sheckles.
  2. Sprout Egg is not craftable. Same story — it moved to the Main Shop instead. Requires "Help grow the Beanstalk 2 times," sells for 50,000,000 Sheckles or 149 Robux, 12.5% stock chance.
  3. Willowberry Seed is not on the Part 2 items list at all. Not in the bench, not in either shop, not on the Seeds and Plants section of the event page. Willowberry existed as a Beanstalk 2025 return crop the preview flagged; the shipped Part 2 items list has replaced it with the Aurum Spire, Nimbush, Twist Berry, Lilypad Cluster, Fableflower, Harpvine, Elder Beanstalk, and Wool.

The rest of yesterday's preview holds up on the live wiki: the three new pets are exactly as previewed (Sheep, Cloud Hound, Chest Mimic), Beanstalk Bear and Wooly Mammoth still are not in the game, King Palm is still the PhatMojo plushie code exclusive, and the Jack NPC leveling table matches. Move on.

Gold Cauldron — The TBA Is Now Filled In

Yesterday's preview called this "the biggest TBA on the wiki." It is not TBA any more. From the live event page's Gold Cauldron section:

The player must submit between 30-75 KG of Gold-mutated plants to fill the cauldron. Once filled, the player receives 1x Beanpod Chest. Afterward, the cauldron enters a 3-minute cooldown.

Three things worth reading twice:

  • 30-75 KG is a range, not a fixed cost. The wiki does not spell out what randomises it — probably per-fill roll — but it means the cheapest fill is 40% of the priciest one. Don't hoard.
  • The reward is Beanpod Chest. Which is the exact bag the three new pets are inside (see the pet loop section below). The Cauldron IS the pet farm.
  • 3-minute cooldown. Between the Cauldron cooldown and the Jack-leveled 10-to-15-minute Beanstalk cooldown, your Gold-mutation queue is going to matter more than raw Sheckle income today. Farm your Gilded mutations first, then feed the Cauldron.

Crafting Bench — The 8 Recipes That Actually Shipped

Here is the complete live Crafting Bench, in the order the wiki lists them:

RecipeIngredientsSheckle CostTime
Green Bean Memories (cosmetic)2x Beanstalk, 1x Sprout Seed Pack, 1x Sprout Crate4,500,00015 min
Bean Pool Table (cosmetic)2x Beanstalk, 1x Coconut, 1x Sprout Crate4,500,00015 min
Bean Sprout Float Light (cosmetic)2x Beanstalk, 1x Flare Melon, 1x Sprout Crate4,500,00015 min
Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean3x Beanstalk, 1x Cleansing Pet Shard15,000,00060 min
Lilypad Cluster Seed1x Tree Frog, 1x Fableflower, 1x Nimbush, 1x Flare Daisy5,500,00030 min
Brown Bouncy Mushroom (cosmetic)2x Mushroom, 1x Sprout Seed Pack, 1x Sprout Crate4,500,00015 min
Beanpod Crate1x Beanstalk, 1x Glowpod, 1x Twist Berry, 1x Sprout Crate20,000,00030 min
Beanpod Egg2x Beanstalk, 1x Sprout Seed Pack, 1x Uncommon Egg2,500,00030 min

Two of these are the ones worth actually queueing. Ignore the four cosmetic recipes on cooldown 3 — they are all the same 15-minute, 4,500,000 Sheckles shape and are decoration. Focus:

  • Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean. 60 minutes and 15,000,000 Sheckles per craft, but the Cleansing Pet Shard is the choke point — it is not a normal-shop stock. If you have one sitting in inventory, this is the highest-value slot on the bench. The Friendship Shop sells the same shard at 1,500,000,000 Sheckles plus a Friendship-6 requirement, so crafting one for 15,000,000 Sheckles + your existing shard is a hundred-times discount.
  • Lilypad Cluster Seed. This is the only shipping route for the new Legendary crop. Four ingredients — a Tree Frog pet, and one seed each of Fableflower (Uncommon, Friendship-neutral), Nimbush (Friendship 5, 25,000,000 Sheckles, 8.33%), and Flare Daisy. Two of those four you have to grind for. If Lilypad Cluster's per-harvest number turns out to be strong (the wiki has not filled it in), this recipe is the most gated seed slot in the event.

Beanpod Crate and Beanpod Egg both craft, and both also sell in the Main Shop — craft when the shop rolls dry.

The Pet Loop — Gold Cauldron to Beanpod Chest to Chest Mimic

This is the piece the preview under-sold. The three new pets do not sell in the Friendship Shop the way the Gnome does. From each pet's wiki infobox:

  • Sheep (Uncommon, 30,000 hunger). Obtaining method: Beanpod Chest. Passive: Wool Produce — Occasionally eats a fruit without mutations to produce sellable Wool.
  • Cloud Hound (Legendary, 55,000 hunger). Obtaining method: Beanpod Chest. Passive: Cloud Absorption — Occasionally absorbs a Cloudtouched fruit to advance a random pet's cooldown, with a chance to absorb 3 and refresh cooldowns instead.
  • Chest Mimic (Divine, 50,000 hunger). Obtaining method: Beanpod Chest. Passive: Mimic's Bite — Occasionally eats a Chest from your inventory for a chance to level up a random pet by 1.

Which means the actual pipeline is:

  1. Grow Gold-mutated crops (Gilded from Aurum Spire, or any Gold source).
  2. Submit 30-75 KG to the Gold Cauldron.
  3. Get 1 Beanpod Chest per fill.
  4. Open Beanpod Chests for Sheep / Cloud Hound / Chest Mimic (drop chances not yet filled in on the wiki, and I'm not going to invent them).
  5. Once you have a Chest Mimic, feed it Chests you have not opened. The passive levels up a random pet per Chest eaten.

Step 5 is why the Chest Mimic is the Divine of the event. Every Chest you feed it is a leveling event on some pet in your rotation. Combined with the Cloud Hound's ability to advance random-pet cooldowns and refresh them entirely, a full three-pet Beanstalk rotation compounds. This is the shape of the event.

What we do not know: what the actual drop-chance table inside a Beanpod Chest looks like. The wiki has separate drop tables for the three Orb Reward tiers (regular, top contributor, Gold Beanstalk contributor) but not for the Chest itself. Community testing over the next 48 hours will fill this in; do not trust any number you see today that claims to know it.

Friendship Shop — The Full 7-Level Tier List

Feeding the Giant Burger, Porridge, or Corndog raises your Friendship level. Bigger portions score more points. The seven levels and their required totals:

Friendship LevelRequired PointsNew Stock Unlocked
10Can of Beans, Bouncy Mushroom, Beanstalk Painting
220Skyroot Chest (500,000,000 Sheckles, 25%), Griffin Statue
350Glowpod (550,000 Sheckles, 100%)
490Flare Melon (2,500,000 Sheckles, 12.5%)
5140Nimbush (25,000,000 Sheckles, 8.33%)
6200Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean (1,500,000,000 Sheckles, 1.67%)
7270Gnome pet (1,000,000,000 Sheckles or 449 Robux, 1.67%)

The economy read: level 3 is the first Friendship level where you unlock a 100%-stock unlock. Below that, you are grinding for random stock rolls. Push through 20-50 points fast — feed the Giant early — and the Glowpod becomes a farmable Friendship-shop crop instead of an RNG event.

Main Shop — The Full 9-Requirement Ladder

The Main Shop unlocks stock by counting how many times you have helped grow the Beanstalk. The ladder:

Beanstalks GrownItem UnlockedCostStock Chance
0 (default)Sprout Seed Pack1,500,000 Sheckles100%
2Sprout Egg (12.5%), Mandrake seed (100%)50,000,000 Sheckles / 50,000 Sheckles
3Sprout Crate (20%), Twist Berry (100%)12,000,000 Sheckles / 250,000,000 Sheckles
4Silver Fertilizer10,000,000 Sheckles20%
5Canary Melon Seed4,000,000 Sheckles10%
6Amberheart8,000,000 Sheckles4.17%
7Spriggan pet150,000,000 Sheckles1.67%
8Beanpod Crate50,000,000 Sheckles20%
9Beanpod Egg150,000,000 Sheckles12.5%

Reaching Beanstalk-grown 7 unlocks the Giant's portal (per the wiki: "To use the portal at the top of the Beanstalk, the player must have helped grow the Beanstalk 7 times"). It also unlocks Spriggan. And at 12 times, you get the Skycastle Fence Skin. Cadence at 15-minute cooldown: 12 helps is 3 hours minimum. With Jack at level 5, that drops to 2 hours. Not tight.

Gnome — The Beanstalk 2025 Legendary Comes Back

The Gnome pet is a returning legendary from Beanstalk Event 2025. Its wiki page tags it "added in the second half of the Beanstalk Event 2025" (August 23, 2025) and calls out that it re-appeared in Beanstalk 2026 Part 2's Goliath's Goods Friendship-6 stock for 1,000,000,000 Sheckles.

Passive: Gnome Collector — every 10:00-3:20m, has a 1-3% chance to mutate a random fruit with the Gnomed mutation. Gains additional 1-3% chance for every Gnome cosmetic in your garden.

Two economic notes worth knowing:

  • The Gnome is also still buyable from the Gnome Merchant year-round at 1,000,000,000 Sheckles, 449 Robux, or 499 Trade Tokens. The Friendship-6 stock is not the only route — it's the discounted event route (same price, but rolled into progression).
  • The wiki trivia calls out that the Gnome Merchant's shop UI still shows the pet as Divine rarity, even though it is Legendary. Development oversight; the pet is Legendary.

Jack Cooldown Track — Confirmed 1-Minute Steps

Yesterday's preview quoted the leveling table straight from the pre-launch Spoiler block. The live wiki matches:

Jack LevelRequired PointsBeanstalk Cooldown
12515 min
27514 min
317513 min
430012 min
545010 min

Total points to max Jack: 1,025. Every level knocks off 1 minute, except level 5 which knocks off 2 (the wiki's summary line says "each level reduces ~1 minute" but the table clearly shows the level-4-to-5 jump is 12 to 10, not 12 to 11). Points come from feeding him plants that match his current requested trait, which refreshes every hour. If you time your feed windows to match your current trait, you can bank points efficiently; if you feed off-trait, you are burning inventory.

Your Priority Order for Today

Assuming you played the Part 1 launch weekend and have inventory built up:

  1. Aurum Spire, Seed Shop refreshes. Still 0.14% (1 in 700) restock chance. Rolls did not change. Same value proposition as Part 1.
  2. Grind Beanstalks to 7 helps. Portal + Spriggan unlock. Both cheaper time-wise than they will feel later.
  3. Feed the Giant to Friendship 3. That gets you the 100%-stock Glowpod, which is a farmable ingredient for the Beanpod Crate craft.
  4. Feed the Cauldron 30-75 KG of Gold-mutated crops. First Beanpod Chest. If it drops a Sheep, you have Wool starting.
  5. Feed the Giant to Friendship 6. Unlocks the Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean stock (and Gnome one level after).
  6. Craft the Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean only if you have a Cleansing Pet Shard. 15M is much less than 1.5B.

Do not spend Robux on the Skyroot Chest until you have seen the Beanpod Chest drop table. If Beanpod Chest drop rates for the three new pets are anywhere close to reasonable, the Cauldron is the value engine and everything else is decoration.

Codes — September 6 Check

Same three active codes as yesterday. All wiki-confirmed still active this morning:

  • torigate — Whispering Torii Gate cosmetic
  • BEANORLEAVE10 — Green Bean Chamber cosmetic (10-letter minimum, note the trailing "10")
  • RDCAward — RDC Award cosmetic (case-sensitive)

Redeem in Settings; scroll down until the codes section appears. The full list, tested-active dates, and troubleshooting for common redemption errors live on our Grow a Garden codes page.

FAQ

What is the Gold Cauldron?

A new event mechanic added in Update 1.66.0 (Part 2). You submit 30-75 KG of Gold-mutated plants; once filled, you get 1 Beanpod Chest; the Cauldron then goes on a 3-minute cooldown. That is the entire spec on the wiki as of this morning.

How do I get the Sheep, Cloud Hound, or Chest Mimic?

All three pets list their obtaining method on the wiki as Beanpod Chest. The Beanpod Chest is the reward from filling the Gold Cauldron (30-75 KG Gold-mutated plants). Individual drop chances are not yet published on the wiki; do not trust "guaranteed" or specific-percentage claims from other sources today.

How many Crafting Bench recipes are there?

Eight. The pre-launch Spoiler block on the wiki listed more, but three items that appeared to be craftable in the preview (Skyroot Chest, Sprout Egg, Willowberry Seed) shipped either in the Friendship Shop, the Main Shop, or not at all. The live bench is: Green Bean Memories, Bean Pool Table, Bean Sprout Float Light, Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean, Lilypad Cluster, Brown Bouncy Mushroom, Beanpod Crate, and Beanpod Egg.

Is the Gnome new?

No. The Gnome is a Legendary pet that debuted in the second half of Beanstalk Event 2025 (August 23, 2025). It returns in Beanstalk 2026 Part 2's Friendship-6 stock. It is also still available year-round from the Gnome Merchant. Same 1,000,000,000 Sheckles / 449 Robux / 499 Trade Tokens price everywhere.

What is the fastest way to unlock Goliath's Goods?

Help grow the Beanstalk 7 times. That gives access to the portal at the top. Below 7, you can still climb the Beanstalk and collect rewards from the 5 available Orbs, you just cannot use the portal. Feeding the Giant to raise Friendship level is done separately, and it is what governs Friendship-shop stock.

Does the Chest Mimic eat any Chest, or only Beanpod Chests?

The wiki wording says "eats a Chest from your inventory." That reads as any Chest, but the wiki has not yet clarified whether Skyroot Chests, Beanpod Chests, and Exotic Beanpod Chests all count. Community testing over the coming days will pin this down; if the answer changes what you should hoard, I will update this post.
