Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event 2026 Part 2 Preview — Update 1.66.0 Drops September 5 at 20:30 UTC With a Gold Cauldron, an 11-Recipe Crafting Bench, Jack NPC Leveling That Cuts the 15-Minute Cooldown to 10, 5 New Seeds, and a Divine Chest Mimic — September 5, 2026
Update 1.66.0 lands at 20:30 UTC. The 15-minute contribution cooldown is not permanent — a new Jack NPC leveling track cuts it to 10 minutes at level 5.

Part 1 dropped six days ago at 20:35 UTC on August 29. Part 2 drops at 20:30 UTC today, September 5. That is confirmed by the live countdown on the Update Log page reading 2026-09-05T20:30:00Z, and by the version number in the same table: Update 1.66.0, tagged "Beanstalk Event 2026 Part 2." Six days between parts, same drop hour, same 20:30 UTC swap.
The Aug 30 debrief flagged exactly what the wiki was staging: a Crafting Bench that had been HTML-commented out at launch, and five pets that were on the pre-launch page but not in the live game. Today the wiki's Spoiler block confirms the whole thing. And it fixes two of my Aug 30 predictions.
Three of the five staged pets do ship in Part 2: Sheep (Uncommon, 30,000 hunger, "Wool Produce"), Cloud Hound (Legendary, 55,000 hunger, "Cloud Absorption"), and Chest Mimic (Divine, 50,000 hunger, "Mimic's Bite"). Two do not: Beanstalk Bear and Wooly Mammoth are nowhere in the Part 2 items list. And King Palm, which Part 1 previews called out as "the new Prismatic crop," is not a Beanstalk drop at all — the King Palm wiki page has the Obtainment section reading "The King Palm will be obtained from redeeming a code from buying a Grow a Garden plushie from PhatMojo," and the page carries the Category:PhatMojo Exclusive tag. That crop is merchandise, not event content.
TL;DR — What Ships at 20:30 UTC
- Drop time: Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 20:30 UTC (4:30 PM EDT / 1:30 PM PDT / 9:30 PM BST / 10:30 PM CEST / 6:30 AM Sunday AEST). Update 1.66.0.
- Jack NPC leveling caps the beanstalk-regrow cooldown from 15 minutes down to 10 at level 5 (25/75/175/300/450 required points).
- Gold Cauldron takes a specific KG of gold-mutated fruits for rewards. The reward table is still TBA on the wiki.
- Crafting Bench returns with 11 recipes: Skyroot Chest, Sprout Egg, Willowberry Seed, Green Bean Memories, Bean Pool Table, Bean Sprout Float Light, Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean, Lilypad Cluster, Brown Bouncy Mushroom, Beanpod Crate, and Beanpod Egg.
- Three new pets: Sheep (Uncommon, 30K hunger), Cloud Hound (Legendary, 55K hunger), Chest Mimic (Divine, 50K hunger).
- Five new seeds: Lilypad Cluster (Legendary), Fableflower (Uncommon), Harpvine (Legendary), Elder Beanstalk (Prismatic), Wool (Rare, produced by the Sheep).
- Goliath's Goods now supports a 1,000,000,000-Sheckle manual restock with a 24-hour reset.
- Gold Beanstalk stays at 5.2% spawn chance; its contributor and top-contributor reward tables are now fully filled in.
- Aug 30 was wrong about two pets and one seed: Beanstalk Bear and Wooly Mammoth are not in Part 2; King Palm is a PhatMojo plushie code exclusive, not a Beanstalk drop.
- Active codes:
torigate,BEANORLEAVE10,RDCAward. No launch-eve code for Part 2 has appeared yet.
The 20:30 UTC Countdown — When Part 1 Freezes and Part 2 Goes Live
The Update Log page at the top carries a live countdown reading <span class="countdowndate">2026-09-05T20:30:00Z</span>. The row underneath lists Update 1.66.0 — September 5, 2026 — Beanstalk Event 2026 Part 2. Two independent fields on the same page, same timestamp. That is as close to a dev-authoritative drop time as the wiki gives.
Timezone conversions:
- Eastern (EDT): Saturday 4:30 PM
- Pacific (PDT): Saturday 1:30 PM
- UK (BST): Saturday 9:30 PM
- Central Europe (CEST): Saturday 10:30 PM
- Sydney (AEST): Sunday 6:30 AM
Note the small quirk in Part 1 timing: it was scheduled for 20:30 UTC and actually landed at 20:35 UTC. The five-minute slip did not affect anything except my ability to say "on the dot" in the debrief. Expect similar this afternoon; the wiki countdown is a plan, not a guarantee down to the second.
Jack NPC Leveling — How the 15-Minute Cooldown Falls to 10
The single biggest complaint about Part 1 was the 15-minute personal cooldown between beanstalk contributions. That capped every player at four contributions per hour and made the tier-9 unlock (Beanpod Egg) a several-hours-of-play grind on the day of launch. Part 2 does not remove that cap. It reduces it, and it gates the reduction behind feeding Jack.
Points are earned by giving Jack plants matching his currently requested trait — the same trait he rotates every hour. Here is the level table exactly as the wiki carries it:
| Jack Level | Required Points (cumulative) | Final Cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 25 | 15 minutes |
| 2 | 75 | 14 minutes |
| 3 | 175 | 13 minutes |
| 4 | 300 | 12 minutes |
| 5 | 450 | 10 minutes |
A few observations that matter for planning.
The gap between level 4 and level 5 is bigger than the others (+150 points for the final step vs +125, +100, +50, +25 at earlier steps). The wiki does not spell out how many points each accepted plant grants, and it does not spell out whether size or mutation multiplies point value, so I cannot tell you exactly how many Berry or Flower submissions get you to level 5. The pattern from every other GAG NPC-leveling system is that point value scales with plant size and mutation tier, which means the fastest route to level 5 is going to be feeding Jack whatever Divine or Rainbow-mutated crop you have that matches his currently requested trait.
Second: the reward for going from level 4 to level 5 is a 2-minute cooldown reduction on top of the 15-to-12 progression. That is the difference between four beanstalks an hour and six — a 50% throughput bump for the top of the leveling grind. Compared to a farming event where every reward is measured in in-game currency, "how many personal beanstalks per hour" is the actual bottleneck for the pieces of the shop that gate on personal contribution count (Beanpod Egg at nine, Skycastle Fence at twelve).
The Gold Cauldron — A New KG-Gated Rewards Machine
New for Part 2. Wiki text, verbatim: "The player can submit a specific KG amount of gold-mutated fruits to the cauldron to receive rewards." The Rewards subsection reads "To be determined."
What is verified: it's a KG-gated system (not a count-gated one), it wants gold-mutated fruits specifically, and it lives inside the Part 2 spoiler block on the Beanstalk Event 2026 page.
What is unverified: what tier of reward it hands out, what the KG threshold looks like at each tier, whether the cauldron resets daily, and whether the rewards include exclusive items you cannot get from Goliath's Goods. Anyone quoting numbers on the cauldron reward table right now is making them up. Wait for the launch-day wiki update.
The design pattern to bet on: KG-gated systems in this game tend to want an amount that is annoying but not painful for a mid-tier player with one prismatic sprinkler farm, and painful for a new player with nothing but starter crops. Silver Fertilizer is the cheapest gold-mutation source; if you have any spare Silver Fertilizer sitting in your inventory going into 20:30 UTC, save it.
The Crafting Bench — All 11 Recipes, Full Costs
The Crafting Bench that got HTML-commented out of the wiki on August 30 is back. Part 1's version had seven recipes. Part 2's has eleven — the original seven plus four additions (Lilypad Cluster seed, Brown Bouncy Mushroom cosmetic, Beanpod Crate, and Beanpod Egg).
Recipe-by-recipe, exactly as the wiki lists them:
| Item | Recipe | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Skyroot Chest | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Sprout Egg + 7,500,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
| Sprout Egg | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Uncommon Egg + 2,500,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
| Willowberry Seed | 1 Flare Melon + 1 Glowpod + 2 Beanstalk + 5,500,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
| Green Bean Memories (cosmetic) | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Sprout Crate + 4,500,000 Sheckles | 15 min |
| Bean Pool Table (cosmetic) | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Coconut + 1 Sprout Crate + 4,500,000 Sheckles | 15 min |
| Bean Sprout Float Light (cosmetic) | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Flare Melon + 1 Sprout Crate + 4,500,000 Sheckles | 15 min |
| Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean | 3 Beanstalk + 1 Cleansing Pet Shard + 15,000,000 Sheckles | 60 min |
| Lilypad Cluster (seed) | 1 Tree Frog + 1 Fableflower + 1 Nimbush + 1 Flare Daisy + 5,500,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
| Brown Bouncy Mushroom (cosmetic) | 2 Mushroom + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Sprout Crate + 4,500,000 Sheckles | 15 min |
| Beanpod Crate | 1 Beanstalk + 1 Glowpod + 1 Twist Berry + 1 Sprout Crate + 20,000,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
| Beanpod Egg | 2 Beanstalk + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Uncommon Egg + 2,500,000 Sheckles | 30 min |
Two of these are the point of the whole bench, and it's worth stopping on them.
The Beanpod Egg craft is the same recipe as the Sprout Egg craft. 2 Beanstalk + 1 Sprout Seed Pack + 1 Uncommon Egg + 2,500,000 Sheckles, 30 minutes. Both recipes. The Beanpod Egg from Goliath's Goods costs 150,000,000 Sheckles or 149 Robux and requires nine personal contributions to unlock. If the crafted version is functionally identical to the shop version (which the wiki does not yet confirm one way or the other), the crafting bench turns the tier-9 unlock into a 30-minute bench sit that costs 2.5M Sheckles plus two Beanstalks plus one basic egg. That would be, straightforwardly, the biggest economic shift in the event.
The caveat: the wiki has been wrong about crafted-vs-shop equivalence before. Willowberry Seed from Beanstalk 2025 crafted identically to the Willowberry Seed you could get elsewhere, but the crafted-Beanpod-Egg vs shop-Beanpod-Egg question is not answered yet. If you have any Uncommon Eggs sitting in your inventory going into 20:30 UTC, do not spend them on anything else — hold them for the crafting bench.
The Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean crafting cost is now 3 Beanstalks + 1 Cleansing Pet Shard + 15,000,000 Sheckles. The Friendship Shop price for the same shard is 1,500,000,000 Sheckles or 279 Robux at Friendship Level 6. The crafted route is a hundred times cheaper in Sheckles, but demands a Cleansing Pet Shard (the reagent that normally strips a mutation off a pet) as a burn cost. If you have Cleansing Pet Shards sitting unused, the crafting bench is now the reason to hold them — the shard's Giantbean mutation adds a passive 0.12 XP per second per Beanstalk plant and 15% faster hunger.
The Three Confirmed Pets — Sheep, Cloud Hound, Chest Mimic
Sheep — Uncommon, 30,000 hunger
Passive text from the wiki: "Wool Produce: Occasionally eats a fruit without mutations to produce sellable Wool!" So the Sheep converts unmutated crops (the ones you would normally skip past on a value-farming run) into a sellable output called Wool. The Wool crop is on the Part 2 seeds list as a Rare tier — the wiki appears to be treating "Wool" as both the produce output of Sheep and a plantable Rare seed, though the produce-vs-seed relationship is not fully spelled out yet. My read: Sheep eats a plain crop, drops Wool, and Wool is either sold to Steven for Sheckles or replanted for compound loop value. Wait for launch to see which.
Cloud Hound — Legendary, 55,000 hunger
Passive text: "Cloud Absorption: Occasionally absorbs a Cloudtouched fruit to advance a random pet's cooldown, with a chance to absorb 3 and reduce cooldowns further." (The wiki text is truncated in my pull; the "3 and" tail is inferred from the sentence structure but not verified — treat the exact multi-absorption clause as approximate.)
What is verified: the Cloud Hound consumes Cloudtouched-mutation fruits to advance a random pet's ability cooldown. This is the same pattern as the Cloud Sprite from the Beanpod Egg, which also interacts with Cloudtouched fruit — the two pets are complementary. Part 2 seeding Cloud Hound as a Legendary means it will show up as a Beanpod Crate or Friendship Shop drop rather than a top-slot Mythical — watch the launch-day wiki for its shop tier.
Chest Mimic — Divine, 50,000 hunger
Passive text: "Mimic's Bite: Occasionally eats a Chest from your inventory for a chance to level up a random pet by 1!" That is a Divine-tier passive I have not seen the game do before — the pet burns your Skyroot Chests, Beanpod Crates, or similar container items in exchange for pet XP.
Divine tier means Chest Mimic is either a Beanpod-Egg-secret-slot drop (like Jabberwock was in Part 1) or a Premium-Beanpod-Egg lock. Given that Jabberwock at 0.5% Divine already fills the Beanpod Egg's secret slot, my guess is Chest Mimic lives in the Premium Beanpod Egg — but the wiki does not have the Premium Beanpod Egg drop table filled in yet. Do not spend Robux on a Premium Beanpod Egg until the drop table is confirmed.
Five New Seeds — Lilypad Cluster, Fableflower, Harpvine, Elder Beanstalk, Wool
| Seed | Tier | Multi-harvest? | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lilypad Cluster | Legendary | Unknown | Craftable at the bench for 1 Tree Frog + 1 Fableflower + 1 Nimbush + 1 Flare Daisy + 5,500,000 Sheckles. First multi-crop-input recipe in the bench. |
| Fableflower | Uncommon | Yes | An input to the Lilypad Cluster craft. Get it early. |
| Harpvine | Legendary | Yes | New. No pre-existing 2025 reference; entirely fresh crop. |
| Elder Beanstalk | Prismatic | Yes | The Prismatic slot for Part 2. Every part of the Beanstalk event has been anchored by one Prismatic crop — this is the one for Part 2. |
| Wool | Rare | Wiki has not confirmed | Produced by Sheep as sellable output; also on the plantable seeds list. |
Willowberry is not new. It returns from Beanstalk 2025 as a Legendary multi-harvest crop. The wiki carries the 2025 Willowberry page separately, and the Part 2 crafting bench includes it as a craftable output (1 Flare Melon + 1 Glowpod + 2 Beanstalk + 5,500,000 Sheckles, 30 minutes). If you have any Willowberry seeds sitting in your inventory from Beanstalk 2025, they still work — they were multi-harvest and still are.
Aug 30 Predictions vs. What Actually Ships
The Aug 30 launch debrief flagged five pets and one seed that had been staged on the pre-launch wiki but did not ship in Part 1. The Part 2 spoiler block is now the answer key.
| Aug 30 Flagged Item | Ships in Part 2? | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Sheep pet | Yes | Uncommon, 30K hunger, Wool Produce passive. |
| Cloud Hound pet | Yes | Legendary, 55K hunger, Cloud Absorption passive. |
| Chest Mimic pet | Yes | Divine, 50K hunger, Mimic's Bite passive. |
| Beanstalk Bear pet | No | Not on the Part 2 items list. Postponed or dropped. |
| Wooly Mammoth pet | No | Not on the Part 2 items list. Postponed or dropped. |
| King Palm seed (Prismatic) | No | King Palm wiki page is now tagged Category:PhatMojo Exclusive with obtainment "code from a Grow a Garden plushie." It is not a Beanstalk crop. Aug 30 was wrong to lump it in with the event. |
Three of six correct, three wrong. The pets I got right were the ones with fully-filled-in stat pages on the wiki even on Part 1 launch day — the ones I got wrong were the ones the wiki had as stubs. If you are reading a "what's coming in Part 2" post on any site right now, the working test for whether the source knows anything is whether they mention the King Palm as a Beanstalk crop. If they do, they are copying week-old previews without checking.
Goliath's Goods Now Has a Manual Restock
Part 1's Goliath's Goods restocked every 15 minutes on a natural timer with no player intervention. Part 2 adds a manual restock: pay 1,000,000,000 Sheckles and force a restock instantly. The price resets after 24 hours. That is the Part 2 addition and it is written into the same spoiler block.
Compare to Beanstalk 2025's manual restock: 500,000 Sheckles base, tripled on each use, reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC. Part 2's version is a hundred times more expensive as a starting price but does not triple — you pay a flat 1B for each manual restock, and after 24 hours you can pay again. Slower reset, flat pricing, higher entry cost. That is a change designed for late-game whales who want a specific Amberheart or Spriggan roll, not for mid-tier players trying to bank on repeat cheap restocks.
Gold Beanstalk Contributor Tables — Now Confirmed
Part 1's Gold Beanstalk had a 5.2% chance to replace the default one at launch, and we knew from the Aug 30 debrief that its rewards were "increased" — but the exact tables were incomplete. Part 2's spoiler block fills them in.
Gold Beanstalk Orb Rewards (any contributor, standard climb):
- Sprout Seed Pack ×4 — 42.11%
- Sprout Crate ×3 — 31.58%
- Sprout Egg ×2 — 21.05%
- Skyroot Chest ×1 — 5.26%
Gold Beanstalk Top Contributor Rewards (single top-contribution winner):
- Sprout Seed Pack ×10 — 42.11%
- Sprout Crate ×10 — 31.58%
- Sprout Egg ×10 — 21.05%
- Skyroot Chest ×10 — 5.26%
The pattern the wiki confirms: Gold Beanstalk top-contributor rewards are exactly 10x the standard-contributor amounts at the same drop percentages, with the same four items. Same odds, ten times the count. This is a straight scale-up, not a re-rolled table — which means if you already know what item you tend to pull from a Gold Beanstalk, you know your expected value on a top-contributor run.
The 5.26% Skyroot Chest slot is the outlier. A Skyroot Chest is the single most valuable orb reward in the event because it converts to Sprout Eggs plus real money currency at Sheckle rates that beat everything the Main Shop sells outside the tier-9 unlock. If you can top-contribute one Gold Beanstalk in Part 2, that is a 5.26% shot at 10 Skyroot Chests — a Sheckle payout that clears eight figures easily.
Your 20:30 UTC Plan
Rough order of operations for the first two hours after Part 2 lands:
- Log in at 20:29 UTC and stand on the Beanstalk island. Server restarts fire around drop time; being loaded on the event island means you catch the first restart cleanly.
- Immediately find Jack and check his current requested trait. Your first 25 points get you to level 1 (still 15-minute cooldown, no benefit) but they are the fastest 25 points you will ever pay for and they set up the compounding grind toward level 5.
- Do not spend Sheckles at Goliath's Goods until you know whether the Beanpod Egg is now craftable at 2.5M Sheckles. If it is, and it drops the same pet table, the 150M-Sheckle shop price is dead value. Wait five minutes and check the wiki.
- If you have Uncommon Eggs, hold them. The Sprout Egg and Beanpod Egg recipes both eat one; if the crafted versions are usable, they turn each Uncommon Egg into a Legendary/Mythical roll for 2.5M Sheckles instead of hundreds of Robux.
- If you have Cleansing Pet Shards, hold them. The Pet Mutation Shard Giantbean recipe is 100x cheaper in Sheckles than the Friendship Shop version and uses one shard.
- For the first three Beanstalks you personally contribute to, submit only whatever pool of high-mutation crops matches the current beanstalk trait request. Your top-contributor odds on the first three growth cycles are the best they will be all day.
- Do not manually restock Goliath's Goods. The 1B Sheckle price is designed for whales; the natural 15-minute restock is enough for the first day of Part 2.
- Save the Gold Cauldron for after the wiki fills in its reward table. Wait an hour or two — every launch, the wiki drop tables catch up within about 90 minutes of live.
Codes Check — September 5
Wiki-verified this morning against the Grow a Garden Codes page. Three active codes, one entry moved to expired.
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
torigate | 1 Whispering Torii cosmetic | Active |
BEANORLEAVE10 | 1 Green Bean Chamber cosmetic | Active |
RDCAward | 1 RDCAward cosmetic | Active |
LUNARGLOW10 | 3 Basic Seed Pack + 1 Exotic Bug Egg | Expired |
Redemption path: open Settings on the main HUD, click the codes button, paste, submit. Cosmetics land in the customization inventory, not the pet or seed inventory.
No Beanstalk-Part-2-launch code has appeared yet. The wiki convention is to add launch codes to the Active Codes section within a couple of hours of live — check back after 22:30 UTC today, not before. If you see a "Part 2 code" listed on a third-party site before then, be very cautious. The last three "launch codes" on other GAG sites this month were all invented.
FAQ
Is Update 1.66.0 out yet?
Not at the time of writing. The wiki countdown reads September 5, 2026 at 20:30 UTC. That is 4:30 PM EDT / 1:30 PM PDT / 9:30 PM BST. Part 1 slipped from 20:30 UTC to 20:35 UTC on launch day; a similar few-minute delay is possible.
Does Part 1 content go away when Part 2 launches?
No. Part 1 shop, Part 1 pets (Goose, Vine Serpent, Cloud Sprite, Jabberwock), and the Beanpod Egg drop table stay live. Part 2 adds; it does not replace. What may change is Goliath's Goods stock rotation once Part 2 items are added to the pool — expect existing Part 1 items to drop in restock frequency.
Is King Palm coming in Part 2?
No. The King Palm wiki page has the obtainment section reading "The King Palm will be obtained from redeeming a code from buying a Grow a Garden plushie from PhatMojo," and the page carries the Category:PhatMojo Exclusive tag. It is a merchandise-code exclusive, not a Beanstalk drop. Previews that claim otherwise (including one of ours from August 27) were wrong.
Where does the Wool crop drop from?
Two ways confirmed by the wiki. First: it is produced as a sellable byproduct by the Sheep pet (Uncommon), which "Occasionally eats a fruit without mutations to produce sellable Wool." Second: Wool has a Rare-tier seed page on the wiki, which means you can plant it. The wiki has not filled in the sale price or the Wool seed's obtainment source yet — wait for launch.
How fast can I get Jack to level 5?
The wiki lists 450 total points as the level 5 requirement, but does not spell out points-per-plant. The extrapolation from other GAG NPC-leveling systems is that each accepted plant is worth a couple of points at base, scaled up by size and mutation tier. If a Divine or Rainbow-mutated crop that matches the current trait is worth 15 or 20 points, you can hit level 5 in about 25 accepted submissions — call it an evening of active play if you actively watch Jack's trait rotation.
Is the crafted Beanpod Egg the same as the shop Beanpod Egg?
Wiki does not confirm one way or the other yet. The recipes look identical to the Sprout Egg recipe (which is functionally equivalent to the shop Sprout Egg), so my working assumption is that crafted Beanpod Eggs also drop from the same pet table. But I would not spend a Cleansing Pet Shard or 15M Sheckles on the assumption until the launch day wiki update confirms it.
What is the Gold Cauldron worth?
Cannot answer honestly yet. The wiki reward section reads "To be determined." Anyone quoting a specific reward from the Gold Cauldron right now is guessing.
Does the 15-minute cooldown apply while my Jack level is going up?
Yes. Level 1 requires only 25 points but the cooldown reduction only kicks in at level 2 (14 min), level 3 (13 min), level 4 (12 min), and level 5 (10 min). The 15-minute cap runs the whole way through level 1. Which is why level 5 — the 10-minute cooldown — is the actual grind target, not level 2 or 3.
