Two events, one week apart. Grow a Garden — Roblox's biggest game of all time with 21+ billion visits — is dropping the Community Garden Event today (March 28 at 1:00 PM ET), with the much-anticipated Easter Event 2026 following on April 4.

The Easter event was originally planned for today but was delayed by one week. In its place, the Community Garden Event fills the gap — and based on recent leaks, the Easter event will be worth the wait.

The Community Garden Event launches today as the bridge between the Smithing Event era and the Easter Event. Full details drop when the update goes live — check back here for a complete breakdown of new mechanics and rewards.

What We Know

  • The update was confirmed by developer Frazier, who teased the team is "cooking up something big"
  • This is a standard Saturday update following GAG's weekly release cadence (typically 10 AM EST on Saturdays)
  • Admin Abuse events now run for 30 minutes starting at 12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

Recent Context

This update follows an incredibly packed March:

  • Smithing Event — Introduced seed crafting, gear crafting, pet crafting, and the Gem Egg
  • St. Patrick's Event (March 14) — Leprechaun NPC, Rainbow Event with Luck mutation, Four-Leaf Clover seed
  • Multiple QoL updates — Admin Abuse schedule changes, bug fixes

Easter Event 2026 — Full Preview {#easter-preview}

The main event. The Easter Event 2026 premieres on April 4, 2026 and will be one of the biggest events in GAG history. Here's everything that's been leaked and confirmed:

DetailInfo
LaunchApril 4, 2026
CurrencyChoc Coins (Chocolate Coins)
New MechanicExclusive Easter garden plot
Based OnEaster Event 2025 + Angry Plant Event 2025 mechanics

This is the first event in Grow a Garden history to include an exclusive garden plot — a completely separate growing space just for Easter content.

Leaked Easter Seeds {#easter-seeds}

Community leaks have revealed several new seeds coming with the Easter Event. All of these can only be planted in the special Easter 2026 garden plot:

SeedDescription
Candy CarrotBrightly colored carrots with white stems — the showpiece plant
Gummy CactusCactus with brown spikes and a candy-inspired look
Gumball PlantTop designed like a gumball machine with hanging fruits
Sugar MelonPastel-colored watermelon variant
Chocolate CosmosChocolate-themed flower seed
Easter CarrotClassic Easter-themed carrot seed
Bunny FernBunny-inspired fern plant
CandybloomSweet/candy-themed blooming plant
Easter ParadefruitEaster-themed passionfruit variant

These seeds are expected to support Easter-specific mutations and produce crops that can be sold for Choc Coins.

Choc Coins & Event Shop {#choc-coins}

Choc Coins (Chocolate Coins) are the event-exclusive currency:

How to Earn Choc Coins

  • Sell Easter-mutated plants to the bunny NPC on the right side of the event island
  • Easter mutations applied to your crops increase their Choc Coin sell value
  • Standard mutation stacking mechanics likely apply — meaning Wet + Chilled + Easter mutations could multiply your coin earnings

Event Shop

An NPC on the left side of the event island opens the Event Shop, where you can spend Choc Coins on:

  • Exclusive Easter items
  • Potentially new Easter pets
  • Event-limited gear and cosmetics
  • Possible Easter Seed Packs for additional seeds

Exclusive Easter Garden Plot {#easter-plot}

This is the biggest new mechanic: all Easter seeds can ONLY be planted in a special Easter 2026 garden plot.

  • During the event, every player gets an "Easter 2026" garden slot in their plot selector
  • The plot is lilac-colored, standing out from the standard brown garden slots
  • Easter seeds won't work in your regular garden — you MUST use the event plot
  • This is the first time GAG has introduced a separate growing space for event content

What This Means for Strategy

  • Your regular garden stays untouched — you can still grow normal crops for Sheckles while farming Easter crops for Choc Coins
  • The separate plot means Easter farming won't interfere with your main progression
  • Focus on maximizing mutations on your Easter crops for maximum Choc Coin value

Easter Event Mechanics {#easter-mechanics}

The Easter Event 2026 combines mechanics from two previous events:

Plant Submission (from Easter 2025)

  • An NPC in the center of the map requests plants of a specific size
  • Submitting plants fills a progress bar requiring 50 plants to complete
  • Each submission grants rewards: 1 Easter Seed Pack per submission
  • Reaching 50 submissions unlocks a Premium Easter Seed Pack

Selling (from Angry Plant Event 2025)

  • A bunny NPC on the right side accepts Easter-mutated plant sales
  • Selling crops earns Choc Coins based on the plant's value and mutations
  • Choc Coins are spent at the Event Shop for exclusive rewards

Active Codes {#codes}

Current working Grow a Garden codes:

CodeReward
RDCAwardRDC Award Trophy Cup cosmetic

Code availability has been limited lately. New codes often drop with major events — expect at least one new code with the Easter Event on April 4. Check the codes page for real-time updates.

FAQ {#faq}

Is the Easter Event dropping today (March 28)?

No. The Easter Event was delayed to April 4, 2026. Today's update is the Community Garden Event.

What are Choc Coins?

Choc Coins (Chocolate Coins) are the Easter Event 2026 currency. Earn them by selling Easter-mutated plants to the bunny NPC, then spend them at the Event Shop.

Can I plant Easter seeds in my regular garden?

No. Easter seeds can only be planted in the special Easter 2026 garden plot that all players receive during the event.

When is the Easter Event 2026?

April 4, 2026. The exact time hasn't been confirmed but GAG typically updates on Saturdays at 10 AM EST.

Are the leaked seeds confirmed?

The leaked seeds (Candy Carrot, Gummy Cactus, Gumball Plant, etc.) come from community Discord leaks and data mining. They're highly likely to be accurate but could change before the event launches.

Will there be new Easter pets?

Unconfirmed, but the community expects new pets. Previous major events have included pet additions, and the Easter Event 2025 had event-exclusive pets.

What happened to the St. Patrick's Event?

The St. Patrick's Event ended around March 21. The Luck mutation, Leprechaun NPC, and Four-Leaf Clover seed are no longer available.

How do I prepare for the Easter Event?

Focus on leveling your garden skills and mutations during the Community Garden Event this week. Having strong mutation RNG will help you maximize Choc Coin earnings when Easter launches.

Community Garden Event details will be added once the update goes live at 1:00 PM ET. Easter Event information will be continuously updated as more leaks emerge. Bookmark this page!
