Grow a Garden Easter Part 2: Candy Blossom, Orchid Mantis & Everything New (April 11–25)
Easter Part 2 launched on April 11, 2026, and it's the biggest content drop of the entire Easter event. The return of the Candy Blossom (Divine rarity), the debut of the Orchid Mantis — a passive pet that generates Rainbow crops without player input — and the game's first composite mutation (Smoldering) all landed simultaneously.
The event runs through approximately April 25, 2026. Season 4 Pass continues through May 9.

The Candy Blossom — How to Get It
The Candy Blossom is a Divine-rarity crop returning for the first time since its original debut. It is not dropped directly — it must be crafted or purchased.
Method 1: Golden Egg Craft
Submit at the the Venus Fly Trap NPC on the event island:
- 20 Golden Eggs, OR
- 10 Premium Golden Eggs + 1 Easter Sprout Seed
Method 2: Choc Coins Shop
- Price: 10,000,000 Choc Coins
- 4% restock chance per server cycle — check back if the shop is sold out
Method 3: Robux
- Price: 1,299 Robux from the event shop
- Instant access, no farming required
Base value: ~100,000 Sheckles at harvest. Divine rarity means enormous mutation stacking potential — Candy Blossom with Floral + Orchid Mantis synergy can reach extreme multipliers.
Elder Candy Blossom Upgrade
Players who already own a Candy Blossom from the original release can upgrade it to the Elder Candy Blossom — a prismatic variant with a unique dual passive:
- Blossoming mutation on crops — randomly applies the Blossoming mutation to nearby fruits while growing
- Pet egg hatching bonus — grants a chance for nearby pet eggs to hatch with Blossoming pre-attached
Crafting cost: ~40 Golden Eggs (community estimate, not yet officially confirmed). Upgrade at the Venus Fly Trap NPC on the event island.
The Blossoming mutation primes crops for Gold conversion, and Gold + Floral = Rainbow — meaning the Elder Candy Blossom synergizes directly with the Orchid Mantis for a passive multi-step mutation chain.
Orchid Mantis — The New Meta Pet
The Orchid Mantis is Easter Part 2's headline pet. It is the only pet in the game that can passively generate Rainbow crops without player input.
How to Get It
- Source: Evil Bunny activity
- Drop rate: 0.5% (extremely rare)
- Other Evil Bunny rewards include the Goose, Beaver, Easter Sprout, Egg Melon, and Blue Candypop
Ability: Orchid Zone
Every 12.5 minutes, the Orchid Mantis activates its passive:
- Freezes nearby crops in a radius
- Gives each fruit within range a 3% chance per second to gain the Floral mutation
Why This Is Game-Breaking
Floral mutation converts crops to Gold (20× base value). Gold + Floral = Rainbow (50× base value). This means:
- No Butterfly pet needed for Rainbow — previously the only path to guaranteed Rainbow was a Mythical-rarity pet
- Passive production — plant, leave, come back to Rainbow crops
- Stacks with the Blossoming mutation from Elder Candy Blossom for a two-step passive chain
The Orchid Mantis is at Divine rarity with a 0.5% drop from the Evil Bunny. For serious farmers, it's the single best pet addition of the Easter event.
All Part 2 Pets
| Pet | Rarity | Source | Drop Rate | Ability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orchid Mantis | Divine | Evil Bunny | 0.5% | Orchid Zone — passive Floral mutation every 12.5 min → passive Rainbow production |
| Stork | Legendary | Evil Bunny | Higher | Stork Delivery — shares earned XP across all players' pets in server |
| Beaver | Rare | Evil Bunny | Higher | The Wood Works — converts Woody-type crops into cosmetic items |
Floral Mutation Mechanics
The Floral mutation was introduced in Easter Part 2 as the Orchid Mantis' signature effect. Here's exactly how it works:
- Orchid Zone fires → nearby fruits have 3% chance/sec to gain Floral
- Fruit gains Floral → fruit converts to Gold status (20× value multiplier)
- Gold fruit + Floral mutation → fruit converts to Rainbow (50× value multiplier)
Floral stacks with other mutations, and the chain can produce extremely high values when combined with Candy Blossom or Elder Candy Blossom's Blossoming mechanic.
Smoldering — The First Composite Mutation
The Smoldering mutation is the game's first composite mutation — requiring four prerequisite mutations to be simultaneously active before it triggers.
Requirements
| Prerequisite | Source |
|---|---|
| Ash mutation | Ash Raven pet (Season 4 Pass, level TBD) |
| Haze mutation | Hazehound pet (Season 4 Pass, level TBD) |
| Burnt mutation | Fire weather conditions |
| Flaming mutation | Fire weather conditions |
Source: Cerberus (Season 4, Level 47)
Cerberus is the final Season 4 Pass reward. Its full ability kit:
- Applies the Smoldering composite mutation every 36 minutes
- 3% chance per activation to level up a nearby pet
- 6% sell value spread to nearby crops
Smoldering is currently the rarest and most mechanically complex mutation in the game. Exact multiplier values are still being verified by the community — we'll update this guide as data is confirmed.
Evil Bunny: Full Reward Table
The Evil Bunny is a repeatable activity that runs throughout Part 2 (~April 25). Participate every time it's available:
| Reward | Type | Approximate Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Orchid Mantis | Divine Pet | 0.5% |
| Goose | Pet | Rare |
| Beaver | Rare Pet | More common |
| Easter Sprout | Crop (decorative) | — |
| Egg Melon | Crop | — |
| Blue Candypop | Crop | — |
Choc Coin Farming — Fastest Methods
For players working toward the 10M Coin Candy Blossom:
- Plant Easter crops in the Easter Garden Plot (lilac slot in your plot selector — "Easter 2026" option)
- Apply the Choc mutation using the Chocolate Sprinkler tool (purchased from the Easter Item Shop)
- Sell Choc-mutated crops to the Bunny NPC (right side of event island) for Choc Coins
- Participate in every Egg Hunt (fires every 15 minutes) for bonus Coin drops
Important: Only Easter-type crops planted in the Easter Garden Plot generate Choc Coins. Regular crops sold without the Choc mutation yield standard Sheckles, not Choc Coins. The Eggfruit (Prismatic rarity, Choc Coins only) is the highest-value Easter crop for generating Coins once you can afford it.
Season 4 Pass Track
| Level | Pet | Rarity | Ability |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Firemite | Rare | Light Up — advances another pet's cooldown |
| TBD | Ash Raven | Season 4 | Applies Ash mutation (Smoldering prerequisite) |
| TBD | Hazehound | Season 4 | Applies Haze mutation (Smoldering prerequisite); Rainbow variant |
| 47 | Cerberus | Divine | Smoldering composite + 3% pet level-up + 6% value spread |
Season 4 runs through May 9, 2026. Players who want to run the full Smoldering mutation need Ash Raven, Hazehound, and Cerberus — all from the Season 4 Pass — plus fire weather.
Meta Summary: What Changed

| Best farming pet (new) | Orchid Mantis (passive Rainbow) >> Stork (XP sharing) > Beaver (niche Woody crops) |
Frequently Asked Questions
When does Easter Part 2 end?
Approximately April 25, 2026. The Season 4 Pass continues through May 9.
Can I get the Candy Blossom if I missed Part 1?
Yes. The Candy Blossom is craftable in Part 2 via Golden Eggs, or purchasable with Choc Coins / Robux. Choc Coins from Part 1 carry forward.
Is the Orchid Mantis worth grinding for at 0.5%?
For serious farmers, yes — it's the only passive source of Rainbow mutations in the game. For casual players, the Butterfly pet (Mythical) remains an accessible alternative, though it requires active play. The Orchid Mantis is pure AFK value.
Does Smoldering require all four prerequisite mutations active simultaneously?
Yes. Ash + Haze + Burnt + Flaming must all be present on the crop when Cerberus fires its ability. This requires Ash Raven (Season 4), Hazehound (Season 4), Cerberus (Season 4 Level 47), and active fire weather.
Can Candy Blossom be planted outside the Easter Garden Plot?
No. Like all Easter event crops, the Candy Blossom must be planted in the Easter Garden Plot (the "Easter 2026" option in your plot selector). It cannot be placed in regular garden plots.
Will the Candy Blossom and Orchid Mantis be available after April 25?
Almost certainly not directly. Both will exit the game with the event and become trade-only. Expect both to spike significantly in trading value after April 25 due to scarcity — especially the Orchid Mantis at 0.5% drop rate.
