The Cyber mutation is live. As of April 18, 2026, Steal a Brainrot's newest and most powerful mutation launches alongside the Cyber Event — bringing a brand-new Cyber Craft Machine, seven new brainrots, and an Admin Abuse session at 3:00 PM ET today. Here's everything you need to get a Cyber mutation as fast as possible.

Cyber Mutation Stats

The Cyber mutation carries an 11x income multiplier, which was the highest in the game at launch. Update: The Disco mutation was subsequently confirmed at 12x — making Cyber the second-highest active event mutation. Cyber still substantially outperforms Rainbow and Divine (both 10x).

Note on Divine vs. Cyber: Divine brainrots have a chance to receive the exclusive Halo trait on top of their 10x multiplier, which gives them a unique visual and additional prestige value. Cyber's raw 11x multiplier beats Divine purely on income math, but Divine with a Halo is still considered the most prestigious brainrot in the game by many traders.

How to Get the Cyber Mutation

The Cyber mutation is RNG-based — there is no pity mechanic or guaranteed acquisition path. You cannot manually apply it to a brainrot; it must spawn or be crafted with the mutation already applied. There are three ways to get one:

Method 1: Cyber Craft Machine (Best Method)

The Cyber Craft Machine is a new dedicated crafting station added in the April 18 update. It works like the existing Craft Machine: deposit specific brainrots as ingredients, run the craft, and receive a new brainrot that may carry the Cyber mutation. The machine has a futuristic visual design (reportedly similar in color scheme to Clickerino Crabo).

Method 2: Conveyor Belt Spawns

Method 3: Admin Abuse (Today, 3:00 PM ET)

The April 18 Admin Abuse session runs at 3:00 PM ET (12:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM GMT) and applies to all servers simultaneously, including private servers. During this window, SpyderSammy manually spawns exclusive and mutated brainrots across every server. This is your best guaranteed-window opportunity to encounter a Cyber mutation in the wild — and to steal one from another player if you're positioned correctly.

The April 18 slot was marked with a emoji in the official schedule, signaling a major content reveal — consistent with a new top-tier mutation launch.

Method 4: Stealing

If you see another player with a Cyber brainrot in their base, you can steal it using the standard stealing mechanic. During Admin Abuse sessions when mutations are being actively spawned, aggressive stealing is one of the fastest paths to acquiring a Cyber mutation.

New Cyber Craft Machine Brainrots

Seven new brainrots arrive exclusively through the Cyber Craft Machine in this update:

Cyber Event — What Else to Expect

Based on the pattern from the Cursed Event and other past mutation events, the Cyber Event should include a Cyber Spin Wheel and event-themed Cyber Lucky Blocks with exclusive rewards.
