How Trading Works in Blox Fruits
Trading was added in Update 15. All mechanics below verified against the Blox Fruits wiki Trading page.
Trade Locations
- Café — Second Sea (Kingdom of Rose)
- Mansion — Third Sea (has an extra seat)
Both players must sit in trading chairs to open the trade menu.
Trade Limits
- 4 items per trade (max)
- 5 trades per 8-hour window
- Resets automatically after the cooldown
40% Value Cap
- Trades are blocked if the Beli price difference exceeds 40%
- Adding Robux items raises the cap to 80–100%
- Prevents extreme lowball trades
What You Can Trade
- Stored Blox Fruits (physical)
- Permanent Fruits (must be stored in inventory first)
- Game Passes (must be gifted to yourself first)
- Scrolls purchased with Robux
Trading Rules to Know
- You cannot trade a Permanent Fruit or Game Pass to someone who already owns it.
- To trade a Permanent Fruit, gift it to yourself first — this stores it in your inventory.
- You can store one of each fruit type by default. The +1 Fruit Storage product (400 Robux) adds an extra slot.
- Stored fruits cannot be dropped — only traded or eaten.
- Receiving a Permanent Fruit from a trade activates it immediately (does not go to inventory).
Permanent vs Physical Fruits
Understanding this distinction is essential for trading — Permanents always carry higher trade value than physicals of the same fruit.
| Physical Fruit | Permanent Fruit | |
|---|---|---|
| How to get | Blox Fruit Dealer (Beli), random spawn, or trade | Shop menu or Dealer (Robux only) |
| Persistence | Lost when you eat a different fruit | Kept forever — re-equip anytime via the Dealer or Shop |
| Trade value | Lower — one-time use | Significantly higher — reusable |
| Value-cap effect | Standard 40% cap | Raises the cap to 80–100% |
| Storage | One per fruit type (default) | Must gift to yourself first to store and trade |
What Affects Fruit Trade Value
Since there are no official trade values, community consensus drives pricing. These are the main factors that push a fruit's trade value up or down:
Pushes Value Up
- Higher rarity (Mythicals trade for more than Commons)
- Strong awakening or recent buff
- High demand for grinding or PvP
- Being a Permanent (vs Physical)
- Limited availability or new release
Pushes Value Down
- Low rarity and cheap shop price
- Balance nerf or power creep from newer fruits
- No awakening available
- Being a Physical (one-time use)
- High supply (easy to roll from the Dealer)
Where to Check Live Trade Values
We don't publish fluctuating trade values because they age within days of any balance patch. These community sources stay current:
Blox Fruits Trading Discord Servers
The fastest read on post-patch value swings. Large servers maintain value sheets updated daily by active traders. Cross-check multiple sources before committing a Permanent.
Dated YouTube & TikTok Value Reviews
Pick creators who date their lists and reference the specific update or Trello patch they apply to. An undated value video is worth nothing — the meta shifts too fast.
Blox Fruits Wiki — Trading Page
The wiki's Trading page documents the mechanics but does not publish trade values — because the game doesn't define them. Use it as a mechanics reference, not a price list.
