Fisch Values Guide
Fish sell prices in Fisch are calculated as weight × C$/kg × mutation multiplier × attribute multipliers. The highest-value catches are Apex fish like Akkorokamui (avg 2.0M C$), while the best C$/kg rate belongs to Crystal Lobster at 133,333 C$/kg. Mutations boost value up to 12× (Aether) and Shiny/Sparkling attributes each add 1.85× on top.

How values work — Verified August 2026
All C$/kg, average values, and weight ranges come from the Fisch Fandom wiki infobox data (auto-synced). Mutation multipliers and Appraiser mechanics are verified against the wiki’s Mutations and Appraiser pages. We do not publish trade values — those are demand-driven and shift constantly.
How Sell Prices Work
Sell Price Formula
Sell Price = Weight (kg) × C$/kg × Mutation × Attributes
Weight × C$/kg
The base sell price. Each species has a fixed C$/kg rate; a heavier fish of the same species sells for more. The wiki’s “average weight” is a rough typical, not a cap.
Mutation Multiplier
Each fish can carry one mutation that multiplies its sell value (up to 12× with Aether). Mutations come from specific rods, enchantments, server events, or the Appraiser.
Attribute Stacking
Attributes stack on top ofmutations. Shiny (1.85×) and Sparkling (1.85×) are cosmetic; Big and Giant are weight-based. A fish can have multiple attributes plus one mutation.
Merchant
All 16+ Merchant Brothers pay the same rate. Sell individual fish or your entire inventory. Auto-sell skips Relic and above by default — adjust in settings.

Income by Progression Stage
Early Game
Fish at Moosewood and Roslit Baywith starter rods. Common and Uncommon fish sell for 10–200 C$ each. Target Unusual fish when you get a better rod. Perfect catches earn a 10 C$ bonus.
Mid Game
Unlock Sunstone Island and Ancient Isle. Rare and Legendary fish start appearing. Get a rod with a mutation passive for reliable value multipliers. Target Enchant Relics for rod upgrades.
Late Game
Fish at The Depths, Atlantis, and Crimson Cavern. Exotic and Mythical fish with high C$/kg dominate. Use enchantments like Quantum for mutation chances on every catch.
Endgame
Chase Apex and Divine Secret fish in The Ocean during specific conditions. A single Apex catch can be worth millions of C$. Use rods with top-tier mutation passives (Tryhard, Plaguereaver) and hunt Mutation Surges.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is fish sell price calculated in Fisch?
The merchant pays weight × C$/kg for each fish. Mutations multiply the final sell value (up to 12× with Aether), and attributes like Shiny and Sparkling stack on top (1.85× each). A Giant Shiny fish with a top mutation can sell for over 50× its base price.
What is the most valuable fish in Fisch?
By average sell value, Akkorokamui (Apex) leads at 2.0M C$ per catch. By C$/kg, Crystal Lobster (Legendary, 133,333 C$/kg) and Blight Idol (Secret, 56,000 C$/kg) top their tiers. "Most valuable" depends on whether you optimize for value per catch or value per kilogram.
What is the best mutation for value?
Aether at 12× is the highest multiplier but has only a 0.004% natural chance. Practical high-value mutations include Tryhard (10× from the Tryhard Rod at 100%), Plagued (10× from Plaguereaver at 15%), and Ascended (9.9× from Masterline Rod at 25%). Rod-exclusive mutations are much more reliable than natural drops.
Can mutations and attributes stack?
Yes. A fish can have one mutation plus multiple attributes. Shiny (1.85×) and Sparkling (1.85×) are appearance attributes that stack with each other and with any mutation. Big and Giant are weight-based attributes that also stack. So a Giant Shiny Aether fish would multiply its base value by roughly 12 × 1.85 × 2+ = over 44×.
How does the Appraiser work?
The Appraiser in Moosewood re-rolls a fish’s weight and has a chance to add a mutation. The cost is 30% of the fish’s current value. Shiny and Sparkling attributes are preserved, but any existing mutation is removed. The best Appraiser mutations top out at Mourned (7.5×, 0.025% base chance) — lower than rod-exclusive mutations.
Where should I fish to make the most C$?
For raw income, The Ocean has the highest ceiling — Apex fish like Akkorokamui spawn there. Mid-game, Open Ocean and Lost Jungle offer strong returns. Early on, Moosewood and Roslit Bay are efficient with low rod requirements.
Do all merchants pay the same price?
Yes. The Merchant Brothers appear at 16+ locations (Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Snowcap Island, The Depths, Atlantis, and more) and all pay the same rate. It does not matter which merchant you sell to.
Where does this data come from?
All fish data (C$/kg, weight ranges, average values, locations) is auto-synced from fisch.fandom.com via wiki infobox templates. Last sync: August 12, 2026. Mutation multipliers and mechanics are verified against the wiki’s Mutations and Appraiser pages. Trade values are not modeled — those are demand-driven and change constantly.
