Last Verified: October 31, 2026. Sourced from the Blox Fruits Wiki (Fandom) pages Hellfire, Spooky Gacha, Mutations, Candy Corn, Pumpkin Bits, Cursed Pumpkin Seed, Pumpkin Snowman and Gas. Most of these pages are day-one stubs, so Hellfire's damage, cooldowns and gacha odds are not published yet.

Hellfire is a Mythical mutation of Gas, and it's the first mutation in Blox Fruits that isn't a beast fruit. Werewolf, Empyrean and Fiend all came from Tiger, Kitsune and Yeti.

There's a free route and a paid one. If history repeats, the free one won't last: the wiki lists all three earlier mutations as "No longer obtainable without spending Robux" once their events closed.

How to get Hellfire: every route

TradingWhatever the market saysThe wiki's overview already calls its trade value "extremely high".

Permanent Gas costs 2,500 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer. So if you don't own it, the shop route is really 3,750 Robux.

That's where the bundle wins. At 2,800 Robux it's 950 cheaper than Permanent Gas plus the mutation, if all you want is Hellfire.

Already own Permanent Gas? Then 1,250 is the cheapest Robux price by a long way, and it's the one that stays open after the event. The Mutations page says you can buy a mutation any time you own its permanent base fruit. Only the physical fruits are event-limited.

The catch with physical Hellfire

Eating a physical Hellfire, from the gacha or a tree, gives you only the mutation. You can't switch back to regular Gas.

You get both forms only after you switch to the original fruit or own Permanent Gas. Last Halloween there was a short window where eating a physical Werewolf unlocked Tiger as well. It was quickly patched.

The bigger catch is mastery. Mutations don't share mastery with their base fruit, so your Gas mastery doesn't carry over. Hellfire starts at zero, and its V move needs 300.

The Spooky Gacha

It's a limited-time layer on the regular Blox Fruit Gacha, at the usual spots: Middle Town in the First Sea, the Café in the Second, and the Mansion in the Third.

  • Cost: 500 Candy Corn per roll.
  • Limit: two rolls an hour, and the cooldown is shared with the normal gacha.
  • Bonus: rolling any limited-time item gives you an extra roll.

The prize pool:

  • A random physical fruit, above Common.
  • Three Halloween profile backgrounds, including Full Moon and Hallow Forest.
  • Three limited Mythical accessories. Two are known: the Coven Witch Hat and Pumpkin Mask. The third is TBA.
  • Three limited potions.
  • Grand prize: a physical Hellfire.

Both named accessories are reruns from last year's Halloween Gacha. The Coven Witch Hat gives +7% fruit damage, +10% defense against fruits and +250 health. The wiki's own verdict is that almost every Legendary accessory beats it, so don't count it as the reason to roll.

The gacha's odds aren't published. Until they are, anyone quoting a roll count for Hellfire is guessing.

Farming Candy Corn

Two rolls an hour means 1,000 Candy Corn an hour if you want to hit the cap.

SourceCandy Corn
Destroying a pumpkin (they spawn on every island, every sea)About 4
Killing a Jack-o-lantern (sometimes pops out of a pumpkin)About 7
Harvest Moon trick-or-treatingFixed doors, open 10 minutes every hour

At roughly 4 per pumpkin, one roll is about 125 pumpkins. That's a lot of pumpkins, which is why the Harvest Moon doors are worth planning around.

Plan your hour around those 10 minutes of door-knocking, then smash pumpkins between Harvest Moons. Jack-o-lanterns are worth nearly double a pumpkin, so kill them when they spawn instead of running past.

The wiki lists a 5,000 Candy Corn cap. That's 10 rolls banked, or five hours of rolling. Farming past it is wasted time, so roll before you're full.

Hellfire moveset

Hellfire is an Elemental fruit with M1 attacks, built around a fire chainsaw.

KeyMoveMasteryEnergyWhat it does
ZInfernal Rupture125Fire shot that splits into four exploding projectiles. Breaks Instinct.
FPhantom Inferno5025Teleport to your cursor, then a wave of tracking flame projectiles.
XHellfire Onslaught10050Tap: ground slam shockwave. Hold: dash at your cursor and explode on impact.
CHellspawn Legion20075Summons flame demons that partly auto-aim and deal damage over time.
VInfernal Ascension300TBATransform into a chained gas-flame creature with a two-handed chainsaw.

Cooldowns are all TBA on the wiki for now.

The move to watch is C. Its tick damage stops opponents charging abilities and drains their Instinct. That's why it'll show up in a lot of PvP combos.

The listed weaknesses: the tap M1 is weak and Instinct can dodge it, Z has a small area and long endlag, and F has bad endlag too. You also can't move while holding C.

The Hellfire Meter

It works a lot like the Fury Meter. You build Hellfire passively and by damaging anything, and you can transform once it's full.

While untransformed you never lose meter. Transformed, it drains constantly, and faster when you take damage, attack (M1s included) or walk on water.

Transformed

You get damage reduction and a speed boost (both percentages TBA), double jump height, double dash distance, and water walking.

The cost: no fighting styles, swords or guns until you press V again to turn back. Transformed moves get bigger. X held becomes a steerable flame tornado, Z becomes a chainsaw lasso that pulls a direct hit back to you, and the M1 chain gets very long range.

Since M1s drain meter too, don't spam them while transformed.

Pumpkin Snowman and the Great Pumpkin

There's a second thing to farm alongside the gacha. Pumpkin Snowmen spawn around the map in all three seas. They start as three fallen Jack-o-lanterns and stack themselves up into an enemy.

Each one drops:

  • 2 to 10 Pumpkin Bits
  • 1 Cursed Pumpkin Seed (Legendary)
  • 1 random event-exclusive potion

Take 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits to the Witch to unlock the Great Pumpkin, an event-only raid boss. That's three Snowmen at the very least. Bits also drop from Jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins, and the Witch uses them to craft event potions.

The Great Pumpkin page is still empty. Its HP and drops aren't listed, so don't burn your bits on potions before you know what the boss gives.

Should you chase it?

Own Permanent Gas? Roll the free gacha anyway, but know the 1,250 Robux button isn't going anywhere.

Don't own Gas and want to pay? The bundle at 2,800 beats 3,750, as long as it's out. Just remember a physical Hellfire alone doesn't unlock regular Gas.

If you're free-to-play, this event is the only free shot. Werewolf, Empyrean and Fiend all became Robux-or-trade only once their events ended. Farm Candy Corn up to the cap, roll on cooldown, and keep an eye on trees.

Gas itself sits in A tier on our Blox Fruits tier list as a tank and anti-team pick. Hellfire goes on the list once real damage numbers exist. Until then, base Gas stats are on the fruit list, and the combos page will add Hellfire routes once players settle on any.

Codes won't speed this up: none of the working ones give Candy Corn. The current list is on our Blox Fruits codes page.

FAQ

How do you get Hellfire in Blox Fruits?

Roll it as the grand prize of the Spooky Gacha for 500 Candy Corn, buy it for 1,250 Robux if you own Permanent Gas, buy the 2,800 Robux Soulfire Bundle, find one under a tree during the event, or trade for it.

Is Hellfire a new fruit?

No. It's a Mythical mutation of Gas, with its own moveset and its own mastery. It's the fourth mutation, and the first that isn't a beast fruit.

Does Hellfire keep my Gas mastery?

No. Mutations don't share mastery with their base fruit, so Hellfire starts at zero. The V transformation needs 300 mastery.

How much does a Spooky Gacha roll cost?

500 Candy Corn. You can roll twice an hour, and that cooldown is shared with the regular Blox Fruit Gacha.

Can I switch between Gas and Hellfire?

Only if you own Permanent Gas or switch to the original fruit first. Eating a physical Hellfire on its own gives just the mutation.

How do you unlock the Great Pumpkin boss?

Give the Witch 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits. Seeds drop from Pumpkin Snowmen, one per kill.

Will Hellfire be free after the event?

Probably not. Every earlier mutation became obtainable only through Robux or trading once its event ended. With Permanent Gas you can still buy Hellfire for 1,250 Robux at any time.
