Blox Fruits Update 30: What Shipped vs the Venom & Celestial Leaks

Update 30 shipped Sept 5 as the Sea 1 Rework. The Venom rework, Celestial fruit and Dark redesign leaks did not. What changed, and where Venom stands now.

Update 30 came out on September 5, 2026, and it had nothing to do with Venom. It was the Sea 1 Rework: a rebuilt First Sea, a new Mythical fruit called Magnet, and 40 Island Secrets that push the level cap higher.

If you held on to Venom waiting for a rework, it still hasn't happened.

The Leaks vs What Shipped

The earlier version of this page also told readers to stock up on Venom before the patch. Don't buy Venom on the strength of a rework that has no release date.

What Update 30 Actually Added

From the wiki's Update 30 page:

Magnet, a new Mythical fruit: 6,000,000 Beli or 3,500 Robux.
Advanced Combat, a new fighting style.
Secret Levels. There are 40 Island Secrets across the First Sea, and each one raises the level and stat caps by 5.
17 revamped islands, from Pirate Starter and Marine Starter up to Jean-Luc Island.
Renamed bosses: Wysper is now Sky Warlord, Thunder God is Lightning God, and Magma Admiral is Magma General. Every First Sea boss also has a secret awakened version.
A Magnet Event. Magnetized enemies drop Magnet Tokens for a free-to-play gacha.
A stat reset: all defenses down 25%, Aura defense down 15%, max health down 10%.
Dragon is now obtainable from the Blox Fruit Gacha, which moved to Middle Town.

Where the Venom Rework Stands

The wiki says admin Uzoth confirmed that Venom will be reworked. That's all that's confirmed. There's no update number and no date.

Venom's change history on the wiki shows the last change to the fruit was a new icon back in Update 20. So every "Venom rework moveset" you've seen, including flight and poison stacks, is still unconfirmed.

There Is No Celestial Fruit

Search the wiki for "Celestial" and you get places and items, not a fruit. The Celestial Domain was an event location added in Update 27.3, the RIP Event, on September 13, 2025.

Enemies there dropped Celestial Tokens. You spent those at the Celestial Gacha, which paid out things like the Divine Cloak, the Celestial Helmet and a Celestial skin for Pain.

That's likely where the leaks got "Celestial Beast" from.

What Happened to Dark

Dark didn't get a new combat style. It got a round of buffs in Update 29.6, the Summer PvP Patch on August 7, 2026:

[Z] Dimensional Slash no longer stuns the user, and its range and hitbox are both up 25%.
[X] Abyssal Darkness now breaks Instinct, with 25% less end-lag.
[C] Endless Hole has a 15% bigger hitbox. Fully held, its final hit stuns 50% longer.
[V] World of Darkness casts 25% faster, has 25% less end-lag and travels 20% faster.

Solid buffs. But Dark is still Dark, not the scythe fighter the leaks promised.
