Last Verified: September 10, 2026, after today’s balance change dropped. Sources: the Blox Fruits Wiki pages for Updates/30 (dated balance-change log), Codes, and the Living Skeleton and Dojo Trainer NPC entries. Two things the wiki still lists as TBA at time of writing: what the Living Skeleton cave actually contains, and whether the Dungeon Upgrade Cards fix rolls back any lost card progress from earlier in the week.

The 2,995 wall is finally gone. Update 30 shipped on Sunday with a Level 3,000 headline the game was not actually enforcing — the real hard cap sat at 2,995 for five days while players cleared secret quests they could not spend. Today’s patch, the third batch since launch, fixes that. If your character sat at 2,995 with all 40 Island Secrets already banked, log in: you can push through.

Under the ceiling change is a cleaner list than either the September 5 or September 7 pass shipped. Compass tracks quests again. Stats menu shows the correct mastery bonus (up to +430, not the +150 it was capped at yesterday). Sea 1 fruits stopped floating out of reach. Living Skeleton’s cave — locked since launch — is open. And the Dojo Trainer quest that returning high-level players hit a wall on completes properly.

Level Cap 2,995 → 3,000 — What Actually Changed

The single line on the wiki that matters most today: “Raised level cap from 2995 to 3000.” That is not a stat buff, but it is the change that unblocks the fastest grinders on the server.

Here is the sequence, in order:

  • The Update 30 launch notes said the new hard ceiling was 3,000, reachable through 40 Island Secrets at +5 levels each.
  • The math checks out: 2,600 base cap + 40 × 5 = 2,800. Plus the natural EXP path adds another 200 to reach 3,000. So “3,000 through secrets” assumes a mix of the two.
  • What the game actually enforced on launch was a hard 2,995 wall. Anyone at max EXP with 39 secrets cleared bounced off that ceiling and could not spend their last +5.
  • The September 7 hotfix corrected secret-quest awards from 4 levels to the intended 5. That helped but did not move the wall.
  • Today, September 10, the wall officially moves. Players sitting at 2,995 now see the text “Secret Levels Available!” displayed on their character.

If you were pushing to the ceiling, that is the header you have been waiting on. If you are only 20 secrets deep, it changes nothing yet — you were never near 2,995 in the first place.

The Full September 10 Change List

Direct from Updates/30, dated 2026-09-10:

  • Raised level cap from 2,995 to 3,000.
  • Players sitting at 2,995 now see the “Secret Levels Available!” text.
  • Polished and added quality-of-life improvements to some secret quests and leveling.
  • Stats menu now shows the correct amount of stats gained from Mastery (max +150 → +430).
  • Mobile Modern UI now has the World Map and PvP toggle button.
  • Sea 1 fruit spawns are all on the ground and can be picked up.
  • Compass works properly for level changes and auto-tracking — various compass-related bugs fixed.
  • Notification feed shows notifications properly.
  • Fixed the bug where players cannot complete the first Dojo Trainer quest “Admittance” if they are above level 2,825.
  • Quest progression HUD and Inventory UI scaling adjusted on mobile to avoid overlapping.
  • Inventory pop-up item cards now have a description.
  • Living Skeleton’s cave is now accessible.
  • Fixed a bug where Dungeon Upgrade Cards did not show up.
  • Polished various HUD and UI elements.
  • Other misc. fixes.

Compass Fix — Why This Was the Grind Killer

Update 30 leaned on the Compass more than any patch in a year. The 40 Island Secrets do not come with map markers. The intended flow is: talk to an NPC, get a Rumour, set the Compass, follow the arrow to the quest zone. If the Compass is broken, the secret hunt turns into a wiki-only grind — and that is what has been happening all week.

The wiki lists two specific bugs today’s patch closes:

  • Auto-tracking failed to switch when you leveled up mid-quest. Players would ding a level, the compass would keep pointing at the completed quest, and the arrow silently misled you until you opened the quest menu.
  • Level-change transitions broke the compass entirely on some builds — a leveled-up character would lose the pointer with no way to reset it short of a full rejoin.

Both are fixed. If you have been rejoining the game after each level-up to keep the compass working, you can stop.

Stats Menu — Mastery Bonus Display Was Off by 280

This is a display bug, not a stat buff, but it matters for anyone theorycrafting a Level 3,000 build. The Stats menu was capping the “bonus from Mastery” readout at +150. The actual in-game value has been going higher than that all week — today’s patch fixes the readout so it can climb to +430.

What that means:

  • Nothing you earned before today is lost. Your character was already receiving the correct bonuses; the menu was under-reporting them.
  • The +430 cap on the readout is the new visible ceiling and matches the Update 30 mastery grind for a full Sword/Fruit/Gun mastery path.
  • If you were reading the +150 number as your true bonus and building around that, redo the math. Your actual damage numbers are and were higher.

The wiki’s Mastery page still has not been updated with the new curve for Advanced Combat — the admin-exclusive fighting style shipped in Update 30 — so the +430 max reflects the currently obtainable mastery paths, not what the ceiling will look like once Advanced Combat becomes public.

Living Skeleton’s Cave Opens

Living Skeleton is a Second Sea boss that lives inside a cave on Cursed Ship. The cave has been inaccessible since the September 5 launch — players could see it, could see NPCs mentioning it, but the door did not open. Today’s patch opens it.

Two guesses on why this matters, both grounded in what Updates/30 already said:

  • Living Skeleton is one of the bosses covered by the “All First Sea Bosses now have a secret Awakened version” wiki line — and the cave being locked was the most obvious reason the Awakened trail was missing there. Now players can start hunting for it.
  • The Secrets Master NPC hints at boss-secret quests through the Rumour dialogue option, and Living Skeleton is one of the NPCs known to have Rumour dialogue.

The wiki has not yet documented what actually drops from an Awakened Living Skeleton fight or what the trigger sequence is. If you own Instinct V2 and want to be first, this is the boss to prod tonight.

Dojo Trainer “Admittance” Fix — Returning Player Wall

The Dojo Trainer NPC teaches Blox Fruits fighting styles. His first quest is called “Admittance,” and completing it is the gate to every other Dojo interaction. A bug in Update 30 blocked completion for any character above Level 2,825. That covers a huge slice of the player base — anyone who was at endgame before the update and returned to try Update 30 hit this wall on their first Dojo visit.

Fixed today. If you were bounced out of the Dojo earlier this week, you should be able to re-run “Admittance” and continue the Dojo progression. This becomes especially important when Advanced Combat (the new Update 30 fighting style) drops for regular players — Dojo access is expected to be the intake for it.

Sea 1 Fruit Spawns — They Are on the Ground Again

Small, specific, real. After the September 5 rework, some fruit spawns in the First Sea appeared to float above the terrain and could not be picked up. If you saw a Blox Fruit hovering at the wrong height and could not interact with it, that was the bug. Today’s patch drops every Sea 1 fruit spawn to the ground where the pickup hitbox works. Nobody should lose a fruit to bad geometry now.

Mobile UI — World Map/PvP Toggle and Quest HUD Scaling

Three Modern UI gaps closed today: the missing World Map and PvP toggle button is back, quest progression HUD and Inventory UI stopped overlapping on smaller screens, and inventory pop-up item cards now include a description instead of just a name. Mobile is where the bulk of Blox Fruits casual traffic lives — not glamorous, but load-bearing.

Dungeon Upgrade Cards Show Up

Dungeon Upgrade Cards are the reward layer for the Dungeon system introduced back in Update 26. When they roll, you get a picked-from-a-pool buff card at the end of a dungeon run. A bug in Update 30 caused the cards to sometimes not appear when they should have — players finished a dungeon and got no card selection at all.

Fixed. What the wiki does not yet say is whether players who ran dungeons this week and received no cards will have those runs retroactively credited. Assume not, unless the wiki changelog updates. If you were farming dungeons for card RNG, the last five days may need re-running.

Three Patches in Six Days — Where We Are

Update 30 is now the most-patched Blox Fruits launch of the year. Sep 5 shipped the Sea 1 rework, Magnet Fruit, 40 Island Secrets, and same-day fixes for the 4-instead-of-5-level secret bug plus a memory issue. Sep 7 re-gated the Middle Town teleporter behind full-island completion, made “Fear the Reaper” completable, and added Rumour hints for the Awakened bosses. Today’s pass is the ceiling-and-QOL batch: the real 3,000 cap, the compass, the mastery display, Living Skeleton, Dojo Trainer, mobile UI, ground fruit, and dungeon cards.

The September 7 note explicitly warned “more secret quest fixes to come soon.” A fourth batch is expected, and there is still no in-game code for Update 30.

What Is Still Open

  • More secret quest fixes. Explicit dev promise from Sep 7, still unshipped.
  • Advanced Combat public availability. The Update 30 fighting style is still admin-only. No unlock path posted.
  • Awakened boss triggers. Every First Sea boss has an Awakened version, but only three trigger sequences are documented.
  • Dungeon Upgrade Cards backpay. No wiki note on whether missed dungeon runs get retroactive credit.
  • An Update 30 code. Active list unchanged from before the Sep 5 launch, per today’s wiki check.

Priority Order for Logging In Today

If you have a Blox Fruits character above Level 2,500, here is the order that actually pays out:

  1. Check whether you are at 2,995. If yes, look for the “Secret Levels Available!” text. Cash in the last +5.
  2. Open Stats menu, re-read the Mastery bonus. Whatever number you were building around all week is wrong — the real ceiling is +430.
  3. Test the compass on your next secret. Set a Rumour target, confirm auto-tracking survives a level-up, resume the grind.
  4. Try Living Skeleton’s cave on Cursed Ship. First player to document the Awakened trigger makes the wiki — highest-value discovery hunt open right now.
  5. If you were locked out of the Dojo, re-run “Admittance.” Do this before Advanced Combat drops publicly.

Codes Check

The wiki’s Codes page still shows 24 active Blox Fruits codes, and today’s patch did not add one. Our Blox Fruits codes page matches the wiki 1-to-1 as re-verified last week.

If you are pushing to Level 3,000 tonight, stack EASTEREXP (20 minutes 2x EXP) with SUB2GAMERROBOT_EXP1 (30 minutes) and the many 20-minute Sub2 codes for close to a full boost session. Free stat resets are still available via KITT_RESET, Sub2UncleKizaru, and SUB2GAMERROBOT_RESET1 — useful if you are re-tuning stat distribution against the new +430 mastery display.

FAQ

What was the real level cap before today?

A hard 2,995, not the 3,000 the Update 30 patch notes claimed. Today’s patch bumps it to the intended 3,000. If you were bouncing off the 2,995 ceiling all week, you can push through now.

Does the +430 mastery bonus mean I got stronger?

No. The +430 is a display fix — the Stats menu was capping its readout at +150 while the actual in-game bonus was already higher. Your damage numbers did not change today. Only the number the menu shows you did.

What is in Living Skeleton’s cave?

The wiki has not published contents yet. The best-supported guess is that the cave holds the trigger for the Awakened Living Skeleton fight referenced in the Update 30 notes. First player to document it makes the wiki.

Do I have to re-run Dojo Trainer Admittance if I completed it before Update 30?

No. The fix targets players above Level 2,825 who tried to complete it during Update 30 and were blocked. If your Dojo progression was clean pre-patch, nothing changes for you.

Will Dungeon Upgrade Cards I missed this week be credited?

No wiki confirmation either way. Assume not until the dev team posts otherwise. Re-run one dungeon today to confirm cards drop, then plan runs accordingly.

Is there a Update 30 code yet?

No. The wiki’s Codes page has not added anything since the September 5 launch, and today’s patch did not include a code either. Nothing new to redeem.
