No. As of our July 2026 check there are zero active Murder Mystery 2 codes, and none have worked at any point during 2025 either. We verify this against the official MM2 Fandom Codes page, which plainly states "there are no working codes right now." Any site or video claiming to have a fresh "working MM2 code" is recycling expired knife codes or is outright fake.

The first MM2 code was F1RSTC0D3, redeemed for the Uncommon "Gifted" knife — the literal "first code," released with the codes update on December 28, 2014 and redeemable for only 48 hours. It is long expired, but it is why the Gifted knife is treated as a piece of MM2 history. Every code knife after it (Combat II, Prism, the "Pals" tributes like AL3X and SUB0, themed ones like INF3CT3D and PATR1CK) is also expired.

When a code is live you redeem it inside the game, not on a website: load into the lobby, open your Inventory, and enter the code in the code box inside the inventory panel — that is where the wiki documents redemption happening. MM2 codes use zeroes in place of some letters (F1RSTC0D3, not FIRSTCODE), so copy them precisely.

No — they are scams. Real MM2 codes have only ever come from the developer: per the wiki they were "mostly always given away at Nikilis's twitter page," occasionally relayed via close community figures like JD's YouTube channel. No third-party tool can generate one. Any "MM2 code generator," "free Godly knife code," or site asking for your Roblox login or Robux to "unlock" a code is fake and often a phishing or account-theft attempt. Never enter your Roblox password anywhere except roblox.com.

Since codes are dormant, the free routes are: unboxing weapons from crates with Coins or Keys (small chance at Godlies), earning items through seasonal events and their Battle Pass tiers, and receiving gifts from other players. Trading is the fastest way to target a specific knife — check our value list before you trade so you do not lose value.

It is possible but rare. Nikilis has gone years without issuing one, favouring events and gifting instead. If a new code ever drops it will be announced first on the official @NikilisRBX account on X (Twitter). We re-check the wiki and that account every time we update this page and publish any genuine new code within 24 hours — so bookmark this page rather than trusting clickbait videos.
