Innocent
Survive until the timer runs out or the Murderer is killed
None (can pick up dropped Sheriff gun)
Survive until timer expires OR Murderer is eliminated
- • Collect coins for cosmetic progression
- • Pick up the Sheriff gun if dropped (become "Hero")
- • Vote for next map during intermission
- Stay in groups but not too close (knife can hit multiple)
- Learn the map layouts and escape routes
- If Sheriff dies, try to grab the gun
- Killing the Murderer as Hero gives bonus XP

Eliminate the Murderer
- • One-shot kill on Murderer
- • Gun drops on death for Innocents to pick up
- • Can see player names at close range
- Use "Flick Aiming" - snap to target at the moment of firing
- Position in open areas with long sightlines
- Dont reveal gun early - you become the primary target
- If cornered, consider "Gun Drop" strategy - die in open area
- NEVER shoot an Innocent - you die immediately
Murderer
Eliminate all players before the timer expires
Knife (Melee + Throwable)
Eliminate all Innocents and Sheriff before timer runs out
- • Melee attack (instant kill, short range)
- • Throw knife (instant kill, travels in straight line)
- • Equip perks for various abilities
- Target the Sheriff first if identified
- Jump while throwing to alter trajectory and become harder to hit
- Haste perk is meta for public lobbies
- Sleight perk is meta for 1v1 competitive
- Camp the Sheriff gun if you killed them in a corner
Murderer Perks

Haste
Considered the "Meta" perk for aggressive play; allows the Murderer to close distance faster than victims can run.
Sleight

X-Ray

Footsteps

Ninja

Ghost

Sprint

Decoy
Added Thanksgiving 2025; creates confusion by spawning AI clones that mimic your appearance. Forces the Sheriff to guess which is the real Murderer.
Fake Gun
Psychological warfare; tricks the Sheriff into hesitating.
Trap
Area denial; slows or marks players who step on it.
