Grow a Garden Bizzy Bees 2026: Complete Event Guide (Honey Garden, Coins & Best Buy Order)
The Bizzy Bees 2026 event is live in Grow a Garden right now — and if the 2025 version was the tutorial, this one is the real game. The developers rebuilt the bee mechanics from scratch: dedicated Honey Garden, new Honey Compressor, two new bee mutation tiers, a full Empress Bee Upgrade Tree, a Bizzy Bear crafting station, and enough new seeds and pets to keep you grinding through the May 16 end date.
Six days remain. This guide covers how the event actually works, what to prioritize with your Honey Coins, and how the Upgrade Tree compounds your farming rate over the week.
What's New in 2026 vs. Last Year
The 2025 Bizzy Bee event had bees swarming your garden on an hourly cycle. In 2026, you have a dedicated Honey Garden where bees are active the entire session. The mechanic stack has also expanded significantly:
- Honey Garden: Permanent bee activity through your own beehive — no more waiting for hourly swarms
- Honey Compressor: A dedicated compression machine converts Pollinated fruits into Honey Coins
- Empress Bee Upgrade Tree: A persistent progression system you build throughout the week
- Two new mutation tiers: Pollinated ×3 and HoneyGlazed ×5
- Bizzy Bear crafting station: Craft two event-exclusive crops
The Core Loop
The entire event runs on this cycle:
- Switch to Honey Garden
- Grow crops — bees pollinate them throughout the session
- Submit at least 30kg of Pollinated fruits to the Honey Compressor (90 sec processing)
- Earn Honey Coins
- Spend at Beatrice's shop or the Empress Bee Upgrade Tree
- Repeat
The shop restocks every 30 minutes. Plan your spending around restock windows when targeting specific items.
Setting Up Your Honey Garden
The first step is converting your garden to a Honey Garden. Bees won't pollinate your crops until you do this.
- Enter the Bizzy Bees event stage on the Grow a Garden map
- Purchase a Bee Egg from the Bee Shop NPC in the center of the event stage
- Hatch your first bee pet — this triggers the Honey Garden conversion option
- Switch your garden to Honey Garden mode
Once converted, a beehive spawns at the back of your garden. Bee pets live here and fly out to pollinate your crops throughout your session. Bee pets use their own slot system — they don't take up your regular pet lineup slots.
Pollination and New Mutations
Bees pollinate your crops as they grow in the Honey Garden. The mutation tier they produce depends on your bees' pollination quality stat — better bee pets produce HoneyGlazed more consistently.
| Mutation | Multiplier | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Pollinated | ×3 | Base tier — any bee pet can produce it |
| HoneyGlazed | ×5 | Premium tier — requires higher-quality bee pets |
Both mutations stack multiplicatively with your crop's existing mutations — not additively. A Wet + Pollinated crop multiplies both modifiers together. This is what makes Honey Garden farming genuinely profitable rather than cosmetic.
HoneyGlazed ×5 is the target. Getting it consistently requires better bee pets and higher Bee Capacity in the Upgrade Tree — which is why those are the first priorities when spending coins.
How the Honey Compressor Works
The Honey Compressor NPC is on the right side of the event stage. It converts your Pollinated crops into Honey Coins.
- Minimum submission: 30kg of Pollinated fruits per batch
- Processing time: ~90 seconds per batch
- Payout scaling: HoneyGlazed ×5 fruits pay out more per kilogram than Pollinated ×3 — mutation quality directly affects your Honey Coin rate
Upgrading Compressor Capacity in the Empress Bee Upgrade Tree lets you submit larger batches. Compressor Speed reduces the 90-second timer. Both matter more as your crop volume grows.
What to Buy First (Priority Guide)
Spend your first Honey Coins in this order:
- Common Bee Eggs (10 Honey Coins each) — Get bees active immediately. Common Bee Eggs always restock. More bees = more pollination = more crops in the Compressor per cycle.
- Empress Bee Upgrade Tree: Bee Capacity (first 2 tiers) — More bees in the hive means higher mutation frequency. The early tiers are cheap and have immediate impact.
- Empress Bee Upgrade Tree: Extra Honey Coins — Bonus Honey Coins per Compressor submission. Buy early — it compounds every subsequent run.
- Rare Bee Eggs — Better bees produce HoneyGlazed ×5 more consistently. Transition to these once your Compressor cycle is running.
- Event crops (Honey Daisy, Honey Dew, Ambercomb Seeds) — Higher base values for better Compressor payouts. Add once your bee operation is generating steady coin volume.
What to skip early:
- Hive Seed Pack — More expensive than individual seeds for early-event farming
- Hive Crate — Save until after your Upgrade Tree is built
- Pollen Radar 2026 (8 Honey Coins) — Useful but it's QoL, not a production multiplier
Bee Eggs and Pets
The event has two egg pools:
Standard Bee Egg Pool
| Egg | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Common Bee Egg | 10 Honey Coins | Guaranteed restock — best day-one purchase |
| Rare Bee Egg | Higher | Better pollination quality, unlocks HoneyGlazed more reliably |
| Hive Egg | Honey Coins | Standard pool; also has access to Empress Bee |
| Mythical Bee Egg | Premium | Highest-tier pool; best chance at Divine Empress Bee |
Anti Bee Egg Pool
A separate pool available via Anti Bee Eggs (accessible from the Mythical tier). Specific pet names and pollination stats still being cataloged by the community.
The Divine Empress Bee
- Rarity: Divine
- Hatch Chance: 0.5% (from Hive Egg or Mythical Bee Egg)
- Ability: Occasionally refreshes the ability cooldowns of other random pets in your lineup
The Empress Bee is the event's rarest pet. At 0.5%, she's a long-game goal — not a day-one expectation. Prioritize building your Compressor cycle first and pursue Mythical Bee Eggs once you have steady coin income.
The Empress Bee Upgrade Tree
The Empress Bee NPC at the center of the event platform opens the Upgrade Tree. Upgrades are permanent for the duration of the event (until May 16) and purchased with Honey Coins.
| Upgrade | Effect | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Bee Capacity | More bees active in your Honey Garden | 🔴 High — most tiers, biggest long-term impact |
| Extra Honey Coins | Bonus Honey Coins per Compressor submission | 🔴 High — buy early, compounds fast |
| Bee Speed | Bees pollinate more crops per session | 🟡 Mid |
| Compressor Speed | Reduces the 90-second processing time | 🟡 Mid |
| Compressor Capacity | Allows larger batch submissions | 🟡 Mid — valuable once crop volume grows |
Recommended order: Bee Capacity (tiers 1–2) → Extra Honey Coins → Bee Speed → Compressor Speed → continue Bee Capacity.
Note: Bee Capacity has the steepest late-game cost of any upgrade. Don't rush it to max — balance it with Extra Honey Coins so your spending keeps pace with your earning rate.
The Bizzy Bear Crafting Station
The Bizzy Bear NPC lets you craft two event-exclusive crops from event materials:
- Bee Balm — Craftable event crop; can be Pollinated in the Honey Garden
- Honeysuckle — Craftable event crop; can be Pollinated in the Honey Garden
⚠️ Partially Confirmed: Exact crafting reagents and quantities for both crops are still being cataloged. Check the Grow a Garden Fandom wiki for real-time updates as the community documents them.

FAQ
When does the Bizzy Bees 2026 event end?
May 16, 2026. From today (May 10), you have six days remaining. Start the event loop immediately if you want to progress the Upgrade Tree and target rarer bee pets.
Do I have to convert my main garden to participate?
Yes — you need to switch to Honey Garden mode to activate bee pollination. Your standard garden won't produce Pollinated mutations. You can switch back after the event ends if desired.
Is the Divine Empress Bee obtainable without Robux?
The Empress Bee has a 0.5% hatch chance from Hive Eggs and Mythical Bee Eggs. Hive Eggs are purchasable with Honey Coins, so she is obtainable without Robux — though the 0.5% rate means you'll need a lot of Compressor runs to generate enough coins for repeated hatches.
What's the difference between Pollinated ×3 and HoneyGlazed ×5?
Both are event-specific mutations. Pollinated ×3 is the base tier — any bee can produce it. HoneyGlazed ×5 is the premium tier requiring higher-quality bee pets. HoneyGlazed also pays out more Honey Coins per kilogram in the Compressor.
Does it matter what crops I grow in the Honey Garden?
Yes. Higher-value crops produce higher Honey Coin payouts when Pollinated and Compressed. Event-exclusive crops like Hive Fruit and Nectarine have better base values. Grow event crops when possible; standard crops when you need raw volume.
Does the Upgrade Tree reset after the event ends?
The Upgrade Tree is active for the duration of the event. The 2025 event did not carry upgrades forward. Plan your Honey Coin spending around maximizing event output before May 16 — not saving for after.
What's the best bee to target as a beginner?
Start with Common Bee Eggs (10 Honey Coins each) to get bees active immediately. They pollinate at the base Pollinated ×3 rate, which still generates Honey Coins efficiently. Upgrade to Rare Bee Eggs once your Compressor cycle is running.
Do bee pets use the same slots as my regular pets?
No. Bee pets operate in a separate slot system tied to the Honey Garden beehive. Your main pet lineup is unchanged.
