What Is Pet Simulator 99?
Pet Simulator 99 is a Roblox pet collection game made by BIG Games. You hatch eggs to collect pets, equip those pets to farm currencies, spend currencies to unlock new areas, and eventually reach rebirths that unlock powerful new systems. The end goal shifts over time — early on it's reaching your first rebirth; later it's chasing Huge, Titanic, and Gargantuan pets through trading and events. The game has been running since December 1, 2023 and receives regular updates.
Your First Hour: The Basics
Step 1 — Hatch Your Starter Egg
You start in Area 1: Spawn. There's a free starter egg near the center of the map. Hatch it to get your first pets.
- • Walk up to an egg machine and click it
- • Pets are added to your inventory automatically
- • Equip pets by opening your inventory and clicking Equip
- • More pets equipped = more power = faster farming
Step 2 — Break Everything
Equipped pets auto-attack breakable objects (chests, crystals, barrels) in your area. Breaking objects drops:
- • Coins — used to unlock early areas
- • Diamonds — the premium currency for enchants, upgrades, and trading
- • Items — potions, enchants, and loot
Step 3 — Upgrade Magnet and Move Speed
Look for upgrade machines in early areas for Magnet (pulls dropped items to you) and Move Faster (reduces travel time). Prioritize these early — they pay off over the entire game.
Step 4 — Unlock New Areas
Each area gate requires a specific currency. The cost increases progressively:
- • Areas 1–8: Gold Coins
- • Areas 9–25: Gold Bars
- • Areas 26–42: Platinum Coins → Platinum Bars
- • And so on through Emerald and Sapphire currencies
Pet Variants: Golden, Rainbow, Shiny
Every pet can be crafted into upgrade variants using fusion machines. Success rate is 100% — no RNG.

Important:Rainbow pets are often described as “10× better” in community conversation, but the actual power multiplier is 3×. Shiny is 5×. Don't confuse community shorthand with mechanical values.
The Rebirth System
There are 9 total rebirths, each located at a specific area shrine. Every rebirth permanently increases ALL your pets' power by +75% and unlocks a new major game system. You keep all progress — no resets.

Enchants
Enchants are equippable books that passively boost your pets' performance. Stacking the same enchant has diminishing returns (2nd copy = 60% effective, 3rd = 38.3%). Always prioritize variety. Upgrade at the Enchantments Upgrade Machine in Area 16: Crimson Forest.
Best Enchants to Prioritize Early:
- 1. Coins — boosts coin drops; always have your highest-tier Coins enchant active
- 2. Diamonds — boosts diamond drops; diamonds gate almost every upgrade
- 3. Lucky Eggs — improves hatching luck
- 4. Treasure Hunter — boosts loot from mini chests
- 5. Chest Mimic — converts breakables into mini chests for extra loot
Getting Huge Pets
Purely luck-based. Requires Rebirth 2 before Huge pets can hatch. Luck potions, clan bonuses, and enchants improve odds.
Some events drop free Huge pets as reward milestones. Spring Event 2026 offers a raffle for the Huge Spring Kitten.
The most reliable path for most players. Save up valuable pets and diamonds; trade them for a Huge through the community.

Is Pet Simulator 99 free to play?
Yes. The core game is completely free. Robux can be spent on cosmetics, VIP bonuses, Clan Tickets, and some exclusive pets — but you can reach endgame without spending anything.
Do I lose my pets when I rebirth?
No. You keep everything — all pets, areas, currencies, enchants, and items. Rebirths only add to your progress. Every pet you have gains a permanent +75% power increase.
What's the difference between Gold Coins and Gold Bars?
Both are in World 1 but at different area tiers. Gold Coins unlock Areas 2–8. Gold Bars unlock Areas 9–25. They are separate currencies. You earn Gold Bars automatically as you progress through Gold Coin areas.
How many pets should I equip?
Always equip the maximum number of slots available. More equipped pets = more damage per second = faster farming. Your equip slots unlock through Rank progression.
What's the point of clans?
Clans provide cumulative passive bonuses as they level up — increased walk speed, damage, drop rates, diamond spawns, and Mastery XP gains. Joining an active clan is one of the easiest ways to boost your progression at no cost.
How do I get more enchant slots?
Enchant slots unlock as you level up your Rank. Complete quests regularly to push your rank higher and gain additional slots.
What should I spend diamonds on first?
Enchant upgrades at the Crimson Forest (Area 16). A high-tier Coins enchant pays for itself quickly by increasing your coin income. After that, Diamonds enchants for passive income. Avoid spending diamonds gambling on eggs until you have a strong enchant setup.
