Last Verified: June 12, 2026. Crew system details, Crew Rod cost, Crew Reputation requirements, and the active code list below are sourced from Sportskeeda's Crews patch notes (June 6, 2026), Allthings.how's release-window confirmation, Treyex's Crews equipment guide, Deltia's Gaming's Crew House walkthrough, and the Pro Game Guides codes list (updated June 7, 2026). Codes rotate fast — our live list lives on the Fisch Codes page.

Fisch's Crews update went live on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST — the biggest social-layer addition the game has shipped this year. It bolts a full co-op progression system on top of solo fishing: persistent Crews you build with friends, monthly leaderboards, shared challenges, a brand-new Crew House in Moosewood, and exclusive crew-locked gear including the new Crew Rod (70,000 C$ + 5,000 Crew Reputation to unlock).

If you played through the Catch Flags update or Venue Takeover in May, Crews is the bigger structural change of the two — it changes how your progression compounds week over week, not just what's in the next biome.

Where to Find the Crew House

The Crew House sits in Moosewood, near the lighthouse area — the same district you already use for the daily quests and the Crew Rod purchase. You don't need to unlock travel to a new island; if you've spent any time fishing the starter region, you've walked past where it now sits.

Inside the building you'll find four interactive NPCs that the rest of the system runs through:

  • Crew Herald — create a new Crew, join an existing one, leave, invite players, and manage your current Crew's roster.
  • Crew Overseer — administrative actions (kicking, role changes, settings).
  • Crew Architect — Crew capacity upgrades (more on this below).
  • Challenge boards — daily and weekly objectives that feed Crew Reputation and Crew Rating.

If you're brand new to the Moosewood area, the Fisch Beginner Guide walks through the starter map first.

How to Start or Join a Crew

You only need to talk to the Crew Herald. From there:

  1. To create a Crew: select "Create Crew," choose a name, then customize your emblem and color scheme. Your color choice also defines the Crew Rod skin tint later, so pick something you actually want to look at.
  2. To join one: ask a friend for the Crew name, or accept an invite if a Founder/Officer sends you one. There's no public browser — Crews are invite-driven.
  3. Crew capacity starts at 10 members. You can expand to a maximum of 50 via the Crew Architect, paid in a mix of Crew Rating and in-game Cash. Don't rush the upgrade — capacity matters a lot less than Crew Rating velocity, and 10 active fishers will out-score 30 inactive ones every monthly reset.

Crew Roles: Founder, Officer, Member

Three permission tiers, structured the way most guild systems handle this:

RolePermissions
FounderFull control — disband, transfer ownership, all settings, all kicks. One per Crew.
OfficerAdministrative actions — invites, kicks of lower-rank members, role promotions/demotions of Members. Cannot disband or transfer ownership.
MemberStandard. Contributes to Crew Reputation and Crew Rating through fishing, challenges, and Secret/Divine/Exotic catches. No admin actions.

Practical tip: hand out Officer slots sparingly — 2–3 trusted players is enough. Officer-on-Officer kick drama is the fastest way to wreck a new Crew before the first monthly reset.

Crew Rating & Monthly Resets

Crew Rating is the leaderboard score; Crew Reputation is the unlock currency you spend on crew gear (including the Crew Rod). They go up the same way but serve different purposes.

What feeds both:

  • Daily Challenges — short objectives (catch X of a fish type, hit a rarity, etc.) refreshed every 24 hours.
  • Weekly Challenges — larger objectives with bigger payouts on completion.
  • Valuable catchesExotic, Divine, and Secret Fish contribute Crew Rating directly when any Crew member lands them.

The leaderboard resets every month. High-ranking Crews are rewarded with unique cosmetics — confirmed by patch coverage but exact reward tiers (top 10, top 100, etc.) haven't been published in the patch notes. ⚠️ Rumor Watch: exact cosmetic reward thresholds are not yet public — don't pre-commit to a leaderboard goal until Lure Studios posts the breakdown.

Because Rating resets but Reputation does not, the first 7–10 days of any monthly cycle are the most efficient time to grind — challenges have higher relative weight before the late-month rush from larger Crews compresses the rankings.

The Crew Rod — Step-by-Step Unlock

This is the marquee item. Here's exactly how to get it:

  1. Join or create a Crew (Crew Herald in Moosewood).
  2. Earn 5,000 Crew Reputation by completing Daily and Weekly Challenges. This is the gate — the Crew Rod cannot be purchased before you hit 5,000 Reputation, even if you have the Cash.
  3. Save 70,000 C$. The rod itself costs 70,000 Cash, paid by the buyer individually — not from a Crew treasury.
  4. Purchase at Moosewood Village. The Crew Rod vendor is in the same Moosewood Crew House district. Once unlocked, the rod is yours permanently.

What makes it worth chasing:

  • Specializes in Secret Fish hunting — it has unique modifiers that improve your odds of landing Secret-tier catches.
  • Mastery progression — the rod grows stronger as you use it. Stats scale with mastery, similar to other progression rods.
  • Cosmetic tied to your Crew emblem — the rod's color reflects your Crew's chosen colors, so each Crew's Crew Rod looks visually distinct.

If you're chasing Secrets seriously, this rod stacks well with the strategy laid out in our rod stat guide by biome, and the broader Fisch Strategy Guide covers when to commit to Secret hunts vs. faster Exotic/Divine farming.

Other Crew Gear: Bobber, Lantern, Ship

The Crew Rod is the headliner, but the update added a full equipment line:

  • Crew Bobber — Crew-themed bobber that complements the Crew Rod aesthetic.
  • Crew Lantern — Crew-skinned lantern, situational for night fishing.
  • Crew Ship — Crew-locked vessel, useful for shared expeditions when you're hunting together for big catches.

All of these unlock through Crew progression rather than at fixed Cash prices — exact Reputation thresholds for the Bobber, Lantern, and Ship aren't broken out in current patch notes (yet to be confirmed by Lure Studios), so cross-check the Fisch wiki hub as the in-game vendor lists fill in.

Bestiary Overhaul

Quietly the most useful change in the update if you've been chasing the Bestiary at all. The old layout was a flat list — the new one is location-first:

  • Pick a location first, then see the fish that spawn there. Massively faster than scrolling a global list every time you change biomes.
  • Search bar added — type the fish name and jump straight to it.
  • Discovery hints for fish you haven't caught yet.
  • Personal catch tracking per location plus visual indicators for Shiny Fish variants you've already landed.

If you were ever blocked on a Bestiary completion run because the UI made it painful to figure out what was missing from a specific biome, this fix alone is worth logging in for.

Bloop Hunt & Aurora Totem Changes

Two systems got rebalanced alongside Crews:

Bloop Hunt — anti-steal barrier: when a Bloop Hunt is summoned, it now creates a protective barrier around the spawn so other players in the same server can't snipe your catch. Before the update, Bloop Hunts were stealable by anyone nearby, which made server-hopping a routine grief. That's gone now.

Aurora Totems — scarcity rework: Aurora Totems are no longer infinitely purchasable from vendors. Instead, individual totems are now scattered around the sea for players to find and buy one at a time. Functionally this turns Aurora Totems into a soft scavenger-hunt resource — you can still get them, but you can't stockpile by spamming a vendor.

Both changes nudge Fisch toward a healthier multiplayer loop: less player-vs-player griefing, less infinite-stockpile economy abuse.

All Working Fisch Codes (June 2026)

Verified against the Pro Game Guides codes list (last updated June 7, 2026). Redeem from the in-game menu: tap the Menu button at the top of the screen, navigate to the Codes section, and enter the code exactly as shown. Spacing or casing errors will silently fail — copy-paste if you can.

⚠️ Recently expired — don't waste time trying these: LivyatanAndCompanions (was 1k Coins + Shiny Mosswaddler + 5x Starlight Worm + bonuses), NewBeginnings, AncientIsle, Scubaaaa, 200K, ThanksFor10Mil. Some third-party guides still list these as active — they aren't.

First-Week Priority Checklist

What to actually do this week, in order:

  1. Redeem the CREWS code first (if you're Level 25+). The Silver Crew Rod skin is locked behind it and you can't get it later.
  2. Get into a Crew. Even a small Crew of 3–5 active friends out-progresses solo grinding because of shared challenge contribution.
  3. Hit 5,000 Crew Reputation as fast as possible. Daily Challenges before Weekly — they refresh more often and stack up while you fish normally.
  4. Save 70,000 C$ in parallel. Don't let Cash be the blocker once you hit 5,000 Reputation. Sell your overflow rares — see the mutation strategy guide for what's worth holding vs. selling.
  5. Don't waste Crew Architect upgrades early. 10 members is plenty for Month 1 — focus on Rating, not capacity.
  6. Once you have the Crew Rod, head into Secret Fish hunts. The rod's purpose is specifically Secret hunting; using it in starter biomes is leaving most of its value on the table.

FAQ

When did the Fisch Crews update release?
Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST (9:00 AM PST, 5:00 PM GMT). Admin Abuse started one hour earlier at 11:00 AM EST that same day.
How do I get the Crew Rod?
Join or create a Crew, earn at least 5,000 Crew Reputation by completing Daily and Weekly Crew Challenges, then purchase the rod for 70,000 Cash at Moosewood Village.
Where is the Crew House?
In Moosewood, near the lighthouse area. Talk to the Crew Herald inside to create or join a Crew.
How many people can be in a Crew?
Starting capacity is 10. Expandable to a maximum of 50 via the Crew Architect, paid with a mix of Crew Rating and Cash.
What does Crew Rating do?
It's the monthly leaderboard score. High-ranking Crews are rewarded with unique cosmetics; the leaderboard resets every month. Crew Reputation, separate from Rating, is the unlock currency for crew gear.
What's the difference between Crew Reputation and Crew Rating?
Reputation is your Crew's permanent unlock currency — spent on crew gear like the Crew Rod. Rating is the monthly leaderboard score that resets each month. Both are earned through the same activities (Daily/Weekly Challenges, valuable catches).
Does the Crews update add new fish?
The Crews update is primarily a system update — co-op progression, new gear, the Crew House location. The May Catch Flags update added the most recent named fish (Megamouth Shark, Humpback Whale). The Crews patch is about adding the social and progression layer, not a fresh species list.
Is the Crew Rod better than my current rod?
It's specifically tuned for Secret Fish hunting — not a universal upgrade. If you're already past mid-game and chasing Secrets, yes. If you're still building cash in starter biomes, your existing biome-appropriate rod is fine until you commit to Secret hunts.
Can I steal another player's Bloop Hunt now?
No. The Crews update added a protective barrier around summoned Bloop Hunts that prevents other players from interfering.
What happened to Aurora Totems?
They're no longer infinitely buyable from vendors. Individual Aurora Totems now spawn scattered across the sea and must be found and purchased one at a time.
