Sailor Piece Sea 2 is live. After months of anticipation, the biggest update in Sailor Piece history dropped April 16–17, 2026 — and it's not one new feature, it's six systems launching simultaneously. Four new islands, a full Guild framework, a Bloodlines gacha mechanic, the Infinite Tower, World Bosses, Sea Beasts, and four new Melee Specs all arrived together.

This guide covers every major system, how to progress efficiently, and what to prioritize in your first sessions in Sea 2.

New Islands — Where to Go First

Sea 2 adds four new islands, each with unique enemies, questlines, NPC shops, and boss fights. Two confirmed themed islands include a JoJo Island with a Part 5 Golden Wind/Roman aesthetic and a Naruto-inspired island featuring a massive tree structure reminiscent of the Shinobi World. Both islands draw from non-One Piece anime, continuing Sailor Piece's multi-IP approach.

To access Sea 2, find the Sea Traveler NPC added to Sea 1. This NPC provides the transport between the two seas. You'll need to meet a minimum level requirement — check the Sea Traveler's dialogue for the recommended level before heading over. Going in undergeared makes World Bosses and late island content very difficult.

Island Progression Order

  1. Talk to the Sea Traveler in Sea 1 to unlock the Sea 2 transport
  2. Start with the closest Sea 2 island — it has the lowest enemy level scaling and is best for early questlines
  3. Complete each island's main questline before moving deeper — unlocks NPC shops and Guild contribution opportunities
  4. Target the World Boss spawn points once you can survive the island enemies comfortably

Guilds — How to Create, Join & Earn

Guilds are the most immediately impactful Sea 2 addition for active players. Here's how the system works:

Guild Setup

  • Size: 15 minimum to 150 maximum members
  • Create vs. Join: Creating a Guild has a currency cost; joining an existing Guild is free
  • Recommendation: If you play with a consistent group, create early — leaderboard ranking starts from the moment your Guild is active

How to Earn Guild Points

ActivityGuild PointsBest For
NPC enemy killsLow per killAFK/passive grinding
Sea Beast defeatsMediumActive ocean exploration
World Boss participationHighCoordinated Guild sessions
Questline completionsMediumNew players progressing normally

Guild points fund two things: Guild Perk upgrades (capacity increases, passive bonuses for members) and your position on the Guild Leaderboard. Top-ranked Guilds receive exclusive rewards — these rewards haven't been fully detailed yet, but they're tied to weekly/season leaderboard resets.

Bloodlines — The New Meta Layer

Bloodlines are the most strategically important Sea 2 addition for builds. Every character can now roll for a Bloodline at designated NPCs in Sea 2, and each Bloodline provides two things: a passive stat bonus (damage, defense, speed, or luck multiplier) and a unique active ability exclusive to that Bloodline.

How Bloodlines Work

  • Roll for a random Bloodline using in-game currency at a Sea 2 Bloodline NPC
  • Rarer Bloodlines have stronger passive multipliers and more impactful active abilities
  • You can reroll for a better Bloodline by spending currency again — the previous one is replaced
  • The community will rapidly tier-list Bloodlines; expect S-tier Bloodlines to be highly sought-after

What to expect: Within the first week, community tier lists will identify which Bloodlines provide the best DPS boost, the best PvP edge, and the best farming efficiency. Until those stabilize, prioritize any Bloodline over no Bloodline — even a C-tier Bloodline gives passive stats.

Economy note: If a Bloodline trading system is ever added, rare Bloodlines could become a major economy driver similar to how Devil Fruit values work in Blox Fruits. Watch this space.

World Bosses — Best Way to Farm Specs

World Bosses are open-world events that spawn roughly every 30 minutes in Sea 2. They're high-HP encounters designed for groups, but the loot table justifies the effort: World Bosses can drop Specs directly, making them the most reliable path to acquiring new Spec abilities without Robux.

World Boss Tips

  • Check your Guild roster — coordinating World Boss fights with guildmates dramatically improves clear speed and loot participation
  • 30-minute respawn means you can plan sessions around Boss windows
  • Bring your highest-DPS build — damage contribution determines loot eligibility in multi-player boss fights
  • New Specs (Frieren, Castorice, Cosmic Garou, DIO) are in the World Boss loot pool

Infinite Tower — Relics & Endgame Challenge

The Infinite Tower is Sea 2's dedicated PvE challenge mode. It works like this:

  1. Enter the Tower and begin climbing floors against increasingly powerful enemies
  2. Every 5 floors, you receive a random debuff that stacks on top of previous debuffs (so floor 15 has 3 debuffs active simultaneously)
  3. At milestone floors, you receive Relic drops — Sea 2's new top-tier equipment tier
  4. The Tower is endless — there's no final floor

Relics

Relics are the new equipment tier above standard gear, found exclusively in the Infinite Tower and World Boss drops. Each Relic has unique set bonuses — equipping multiple Relics of the same type triggers a bonus effect. For endgame players, building around a Relic set is the long-term goal of Sea 2 progression.

Strategy: In your first sessions, focus on Island progression and Bloodlines before grinding the Infinite Tower. The Tower gets exponentially harder with stacking debuffs — a strong Bloodline and World Boss-farmed Spec will make early milestone floors much more manageable.

Sea Beasts

Sea Beasts are new open-world enemies that spawn in the ocean between Sea 2 islands. They serve two purposes: Guild point farming (defeating Sea Beasts contributes to your Guild's leaderboard score) and loot drops (items and currency for progression). They're harder than standard island enemies but significantly easier than World Bosses — a solid mid-tier farming activity for guild-active players.

4 New Melee Specs

Sea 2 adds four new Melee Specs to the roster:

SpecInspirationSource
FrierenFrieren: Beyond Journey's EndWorld Boss drops / NPC shop
CastoriceHonkai: Star Rail crossoverWorld Boss drops / Gacha
Cosmic GarouOne Punch Man — Cosmic Fear ModeWorld Boss drops / high rarity
DIOJoJo's Bizarre Adventure — DIOJoJo Island exclusive

Tier list rankings for these four Specs will emerge from the community within days — watch the official Discord and community servers for the verdict. All four can be farmed from World Boss loot tables, making them accessible without Robux if you're willing to grind.

Economy Rebalance — What Changed

The Sea 2 patch includes a long-awaited economy rebalance targeting two issues from the Ice Update era:

  • Old item set devaluation — older weapon and equipment sets had dropped to near-worthless trade values; the rebalance corrects some of these floors
  • 2x Drop/Luck consumable prices — these had spiked significantly; pricing is being corrected downward

If you held old-set items waiting for value recovery, check the current trade market — the rebalance may have partially restored their values. New Sea 2 items will drive fresh demand regardless.
