Grow a Garden Sprinklers Guide
All 18 sprinklers with exact Sheckle costs, Robux prices, stock chances, durations, and effects — plus the buying order that actually makes sense for your Sheckle balance.
Grow a Garden has 18 sprinklers: five Gear Shop sprinklers from the Basic (25,000 Sheckles) to the Grandmaster (1 billion Sheckles), six crop-type sprinklers from the Sprinkler Merchant at 50 million each, and the rest from events and special merchants. Each sprinkler runs for 1–10 minutes then disappears, and you can place up to 100 per plot.
How Sprinklers Work
Sprinklers are consumable gear that boost the crops around them — growth speed, crop size, and in the higher tiers mutation chance too. The more expensive the sprinkler, the stronger the boost and the larger its radius. Each one runs for a fixed duration (1–10 minutes) and then disappears, and you can have up to 100 sprinklers placed on a plot at once.
There are five ways to get them: the Gear Shop, the Sprinkler Merchant, event completion rewards, the Mole and Pancake Mole pets digging them up, and catching the Imp.
Gear Shop Sprinklers
The core progression line. Stock chance is the odds of the sprinkler appearing in a given Gear Shop restock — the top tiers almost never show up, which is exactly why they're worth grabbing on sight.
Sprinkler Merchant
Six crop-type specialists, every one priced at 50,000,000 Sheckles (or 229 Robux) and always in stock. Each only boosts one crop category, so buy the one matching whatever you mass-farm.
Event & Special Sprinklers
Mutation appliers and event exclusives. Several of these exist purely to stamp a specific mutation onto your crops — see the mutations guide for what each mutation multiplies.
The Smart Buying Order
- Basic Sprinkler (25,000)— your first purchase once seeds are covered. It's in stock a third of the time, so you'll never wait long.
- Advanced Sprinkler (50,000) — adds mutation chance to the boost, which is where sprinklers start paying for themselves.
- Godly Sprinkler (120,000) — the best Sheckles-per-boost in the game: size, growth, and mutation chance in one. This is the workhorse for most of mid-game.
- Master Sprinkler (10,000,000)— a big price jump but doubles the duration to 10 minutes. Buy on sight once 10M doesn't hurt; it's only in stock 1% of the time.
- Grandmaster Sprinkler (1,000,000,000) — the endgame flex. It also boosts pets, but at a billion Sheckles it competes with everything else you could buy. 0.5% stock chance.
The Sprinkler Merchant's 50M specialists slot in after the Master: only buy the one matching a crop type you farm at scale. Pair sprinkler windows with high-value crops from the tier list and run the numbers in our crop calculator to see what a mutation roll is actually worth.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many sprinklers can you place in Grow a Garden?
The cap is 100 sprinklers per plot. In practice you only need a handful running at once — place them so their radius covers the crops you are actively growing.
Do sprinklers disappear after use?
Yes — every sprinkler runs for its listed duration (1 to 10 minutes) and then disappears. They are consumables, not permanent fixtures, which is why stock chances and prices matter so much.
What is the best sprinkler in Grow a Garden?
The Grandmaster Sprinkler is the strongest — it massively boosts growth speed, mutation chance, and fruit size and even boosts pets, but costs 1 billion Sheckles. For most players the Godly Sprinkler (120,000 Sheckles) is the best value, and the Master Sprinkler (10 million) bridges the gap.
Why is the Master Sprinkler never in stock?
Stock chances drop sharply with quality: Basic 33.33%, Advanced 14.29%, Godly 9.09%, Master 1%, and Grandmaster just 0.5% per Gear Shop restock. Each can also be bought directly with Robux (79–279) if you don’t want to wait for stock.
How do you get sprinklers without buying them?
Three ways: the Mole and Pancake Mole pets can dig up sprinklers, catching the Imp pet awards them, and some events hand them out as completion rewards. The Sprinkler Merchant also always has its six crop-type sprinklers in stock.
Which sprinklers apply mutations?
The Chocolate Sprinkler applies Choc (2x), the Honey Sprinkler applies HoneyGlazed (5x), the Lush Sprinkler applies Lush (6x), the Geode Sprinkler applies Geode (8x), and the Charcoal Sprinkler applies Charcoal. Regular sprinklers can also apply the Wet mutation (2x), like rain does.
