Easter Garden Save Slot
The Easter Event introduces a new garden save slot with a distinctive lilac color theme. This is a dedicated Easter biome separate from your normal gardens, similar to how previous seasonal events have had themed environments.
Start your Easter garden fresh — this is where all the event-specific content will be accessible.
Chocolate Coins Currency
Chocolate Coins are the event-exclusive currency for Easter 2026. You'll earn them through:
- Harvesting crops in the Easter garden
- Completing NPC quests
- Participating in event activities
Spend Chocolate Coins in the Easter Shop on exclusive plants, items, and cosmetics that won't be available after the event ends. If past events are any guide, leftover Chocolate Coins won't convert — spend them all before the event wraps up.
New Pets
Two new pets join the roster with the Easter Event:
Chocolate Bunny (ability: Choc Chomper)
The Chocolate Bunny is an Easter-exclusive Uncommon pet obtained from the Golden Egg (55% chance). Its signature ability, Choc Chomper, periodically eats a Carrot plant that has the Choc mutation and then spreads the Choc mutation to two other random (non-favorited) fruits in your garden. This makes it incredibly valuable for mutation farming strategies.
Why it matters: The Choc mutation is one of the higher-value mutations in the game. A pet ability that can actively spread it to other crops means you can chain Choc mutations across your garden far more efficiently than relying on natural mutation RNG.
Strategy tip: Plant rows of Carrots, let the Chocolate Bunny's Choc Chomper ability spread the mutation, then harvest the mutated crops for significantly boosted values. Favorite any crops you don't want consumed. Pair this with pets that boost mutation chances for maximum output.
Easter Eggcelerator
The Easter Eggcelerator reduces egg hatch time — a utility pet that speeds up the pet breeding/hatching pipeline. If you're farming for rare pet drops during the event, this pet is essential.
Strategy tip: Equip the Easter Eggcelerator while hatching eggs from the Easter event for faster cycles through the loot table.
NPC Quest System
The Easter Event introduces a new NPC quest system — a first for Grow a Garden. NPCs will ask you to:
- Submit 50 plants of a specific size to fill a progress bar
- Complete various growing challenges
Rewards for quest completion include:
- Easter Seed Packs — contain event-exclusive seeds
- Premium Easter Seed Packs — contain rarer event seeds with higher mutation potential
This system adds structured progression to the event rather than pure RNG grinding. Focus on growing the specific plant sizes NPCs request for efficient quest completion.
Easter Seed Packs
| Pack Type | Source | Expected Contents |
|---|---|---|
| Easter Seed Pack | NPC Quests (standard) | Event-exclusive seeds, common to rare |
| Premium Easter Seed Pack | NPC Quests (advanced) | Rarer event seeds with higher mutation potential |
Based on previous events (Smithing Event Gem Eggs, Valentine Seed Packs), expect the Premium packs to have significantly better drop rates for the most valuable event-exclusive seeds.
Jandel Returns
Fan-favorite NPC Jandel is confirmed to return for the Easter Event (announced via developer TikTok). Jandel has been a beloved character in previous events and will likely play a central role in the quest system.
Community Garden (Pre-Event)
The Community Garden Event launched March 28 as a pre-Easter warm-up:
- Crops grow 10x faster than normal
- Fruits are 2x bigger
- Shared server garden where all players contribute
Use the Community Garden to stockpile resources before the Easter Event officially launches. The faster growth rates make it ideal for building up your Coin reserves.
Strategy Tips
Pre-Event Prep (Do This Now)
- Stock up on Coins — you'll need currency for the Easter Shop
- Clear inventory space — new seeds, pets, and items incoming
- Save your best seeds — potential mutation combos with event content
- Check crop values — use our Profit Calculator to evaluate your current holdings
During the Event
- Prioritize NPC quests — structured rewards beat pure RNG grinding
- Get the Chocolate Bunny ASAP — its Choc Chomper ability is the event's most valuable mutation-spreading mechanic
- Use the Easter Eggcelerator while hatching any event eggs
- Don't hoard Chocolate Coins — event currencies typically don't carry over
- Farm Premium Easter Seed Packs — the rarest event seeds will hold the most long-term value
For Traders
Event-exclusive items always spike in value after the event ends. If you get duplicate rare seeds or items, hold them — they'll only become more valuable once they're no longer obtainable.
All Active Codes
As of April 3, 2026, there are 2 active Grow a Garden codes:
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
| RDCAward | RDC Award Cosmetic | Active |
| BEANORLEAVE10 | Green Bean Chamber Cosmetic | Active |
New codes are expected with the Easter Event launch. We'll update this section as soon as they drop. Check our Grow a Garden Codes page for the latest.
